I officially added The Duchess Deal & Romancing The Duke to my wishlist. And I think I may start that fairy tale series with the beauty and the beast one since you said it can be read Asa stand alone. That’s the one I’m most excited for because I love beauty and the beast!
I love how much Lisa Kleypas was on this list. Added some more books to my ever growing TBR. I got it under 900 and I'm worried it about to be over again.
900!!! Oh my goodness! I saw a cute cartoon on IG the other day that said someone could totally finish their TBR if they stop when they turn 592 years-old. I can relate to that! (I wish I could pop the cartoon in here. It was hilarious!) 😆
I just started reading Tessa Dare and I completely get the hype! Her books are incredible. My favorite so far is A Week to be Wicked. Loving Kate Bateman too! Also this intro was comedy gold 🤣
Tessa Dare is just the BEST! We just did a summer long readalong and pretty much every time we met someone had to bring up Colin (from A Week to Be Wicked). Haha! I can't wait to read more Kate Bateman! Thanks so much for your super fun comment! 😀
So glad I found you! So many of my favorites on your list. I haven’t seen all your videos so please forgive if I inadvertently duplicate past recommendations. You might like Selina, and Hyacinth by Minerva Spencer. Also A Momentary Marriage by Candace Camp. Yours Until Dawn by Teresa Medeiros has humor and a fantastic twist at the end. My all time fav is The Heart’s Desire by Gayle Wilson but it’s really old and may be hard to find. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to more. Blessings from Louisiana.
OMG yes I just finished Married by Morning today actually and absolutely loved it. Again the Magic, the Duchess Deal and Romancing the Dukes are some of my favorites too. I can't wait to read all the other books you recommended!! Great video 😀
I totally agree with you Bea ! These are also my all time favorites! And your intro is just so funny !! Thank you very much ! I am following up your sprints and aother uploads from a little far this summer , but enjoying all of it a lot !!!
Hooray! I know you and I have similar taste in books. If you think of anything you love that I didn't mention, I'm all ears! Of course no pressure to watch anything of mine, but if you happen to see the latest sprint, check out the very end where I just leave and the live is still running! Oh my gosh it was ridiculous and hilarious! Someday I'll figure all of this out. I hope you're doing well! 😍
1. Again the Magic 2. The Duchess Deal 3. Married by Morning 4. Romancing the Duke 5. Wolf Wildflower (Stacey Reid) 6. Beauty and the Beast (Eloisa James) 7. Hello Stranger (Lisa Kleypas) 8. A Daring Pursuit* 9. The Dueling Duchess 10. Bookshop Cinderella 11. What's a Duke Gotta Do with It 12. A Highlander Never Surrenders
I am LOVING this comment! Thank you so much! I believe it's pronounced "Mar-kwess." But ask ten people and you'll get ten different answers, haha! I can't wait to read Gurkhe's next book in that series with Bookshop Cinderella: Scandal at the Savoy! It just came out!! 😍
I've been working on collecting my favorite historical romance authors ^-^ I have the most Hannah Howell but I also have Ruth Langan and Suzanne Barclay. I have a few more coming in the mail soon ^-^ I'm excited! I still have to get most of the vampire books by Hannah. I have book one and two. I've also started adding to my paranormal romances!
Oh how exciting! I love collecting from my favorite authors. Few things are better! I need to read Hannah Howell especially. I've heard lots of good things!! 😍
Love Tessa dare and Lisa kleypas! Hello Stranger is such an underrated read from the Ravenels but it was one of my favs! I loved that they were both working class MCs
THANK YOU!!! No one ever talks about Hello Stranger. It's my favorite of the Ravenels series, and I can't think of one other person who feels that way. I think it's usually Marrying Winterborne, Devil in Spring, or Chasing Cassandra that gets the top spot. 😀
Again the Magic is one of the first historical I ever read and still in my top 3, it's amazing! Still, my favorite of all time is Mine til midnight, just because CAM... 😍❤ Have yet to come across anyone who doesn't swoon over Cam Rohan 😉
Girl, YES!!!!!!! I fell HARD for Cam in his scene with Daisy (in Devil in Winter), and then just never fell out of love! I would have loved to see him with Daisy, but I'm SO glad he got to be the head of the family, so-to-speak, of the Hathaways! YES!!!!! 🥰
@@mamaneedstoreadromance my experience is the complete opposite 😅 I first read the Hathaways and am now in the second Wallflower book, approaching Devil in Winter and not at all excited to see Cam’cheat’ on Amelia who to me is the one and only for him 😂😂 though, if it had to be someone before her, Daisy is not a bad choice since I do adore her 😍 but still.. might need to skip over Cam kissing the wrong girl 🙈
@@yasminealexandras OH NO! Of course you'd feel like it's cheating! But oooooh if you can get past it...it's SUCH a great scene!!! Guess what I found out??? Cam was originally SUPPOSED to end up with DAISY! But with Kleypas switching publishers, she moved Cam over into the Hathaways series...and the rest is history! I think it was Daisy's loss, but everyone else's gain! The Hathaways is so much better for having Cam! 🥰
@@mamaneedstoreadromance Oooooooo, that makes total sense then given the scene in Devil in Winter!!! It has puzzled me before why Kleypas would have that scene in the book without more of a meaning. Clearly there was supposed to be a meaning behind it after all 🤓 Now I kinda wish there were two different versions of Cam, one ending up with Daisy 😄 still, can’t picture the Hathaways being lead by Leo alone, Cam is a natural head of a family 😍 Oh and ps. Thanks for your video on it happened one autumn, I had no idea the plot had been changed until I saw that. Luckily I am more of an audiobook type and even with that, Marcus’ behavior is bugging me a little 🙈
@@yasminealexandras Oh YES! I would die for another version of Daisy's story, this time with Cam! It'll be like the Marvel Universe with different timelines. 😆 Yeah Marcus isn't my favorite. But if I'd physically read that version of It Happened One Autumn, I would have downright hated him. I'm glad you listened to it! And wait until you get to Devil in Winter...Mary Jane Wells narrates the rest of the books in the series and is INSANELY good! 😍
Because of your enthusiasm, I am going to try Tessa Dare again. Do you have a video about your top authors and why you like them? My go to authors have been Johanna Lindsey (sadly she has passed) and Julia Quinn. I would like to find another author that I can mostly rely on for a solid fun read.
Yes. Johanna Lindsay was one of my first authors that I started read. Her first book was the Captive and I never looks. I feel sadness when she passed my daughter loves her.
That's hilarious! I think everyone is different. I just gave 3 1/2 stars to something that everyone else I know LOVED...and I'm even wary of talking about it because they're SO into it and it didn't do it for me. Such is the life of book lover! 😆
I want you to read my #1 romance novel. Love Cherish Me by Rebecca Brandewyne. It's about prejudice, romance, adventure, and steamy love scenes. You gotta read this!
@@mamaneedstoreadromance I literally just bought this book and few others, Devil In Disguise, Devil In Winter and Dreaming of You (which I already read but I wanted the hard copies).
The Daring Pursuit is available as a Kindle Unlimited. ❤😊
WWWHHHHAAATTT???? This is GREAT news!!! Everyone, I hope you're seeing this comment! I'm going to see if I can pin this! 😍
Your intros are everything, and I am 100% the contestant in that scenario 😂
