I have been folding Hedi Kyle's Blizzard Book for many years in all different sizes and I LOVE this structure! It's been a long time since I have folded it and I forgot, so thank you for creating a video so I can fold along with you. :-)
WEll, Karen, you pinpointed the exact reason that I really make these videos: I forget so much of what I've worked so hard to learn, so I need a way to revisit things, presented in a way that I can understand. Can't tell you how many times I've watch a video on my playlist right before teaching, and am been reminded of really important steps or nuances. Thanks for your comment!
Depending on the look you want, there are a bunch of options for 29" paper. From cheapest to most expensive: deconstruct a paper grocery bag, use good quality wrapping papers, check out the papers at www.talasonline.com/paper-and-board/decorative Try all of these!
I generally use medium weight papers, between about 70gsm and 110 gsm. That said, depending on the size of your book, you can coerce just about any weight papers into working out.
Hi Barbara, this a vintage paper, probably about 70 years old, which does look wonderful, but really is not practical as it's kind of brittle. But, yes, it's quite lovely, but just for show.

I love to use recycled maps for this size of project. Find one with the right paper weight that holds the fold.
Wondrous! I subscribed
Where do you find paper this size?
Which is the proper ratio between the length and hight of the paper?
Great question. Answered here: ruclips.net/video/W0NQrdzDGfM/видео.html
@@pbkrieg2410 thank you very much, I got crazy trying to get the structure with an A4 paper sheet 😕😁
what weight paper are you using please? I would like to buy plain paper to paint and decorate myself. Thanks so much or the vid.

What kind of paper is that? Where do you buy it? I have Heidi Kyle's book!!! I got it for Christmas and I am still working my way through it.

😍❤️
Does it really matter what size the paper is so long as it’s square?
Hmmm..I've never tried using a square for this. If you try it, let me know how it works out.
