I lived in Richmond in the mid seventies. It was called the Richmond Square back then but there’s still echos of the old days in this vid. Thanks for posting.
I LOVE RICHMOND! I've been to that mall a million times and it's just like my home. I've been living there for 7y years now until I moved back. I miss it soo much!
I used to live in Richmond back in the mid 60's. I went to Sea Island school, It sure has changed in 40 years, I would like to go back and visit Richmond one day soon..
The best part of B.C. is Richmond, we lived in Steveston 2 years and was a wonderful experience, the best weather of all B.C. we love it. Hey ladie, tank you so much for your videos, it`s very interisting. Please put more videos. We are living now in Tuxtla Gutierrez,Chiapas, Mexico. it`s very different but beautiful too, a lot of food, hapy people, the malls close at 12 p.m. a lot of music everytime. I am from here and my wife is from B.C. so, now we are living the mexican experience.

We have plans to go back to Canada next year. Anyway, have a nice holidays and thank you again.
I don't recognize it anymore. I remember it when it was called Richmond Square and Super Valu was at one end and BMO was inside just before you entered Sears. I just realized this clip was over 10 years old, so I'm editing my comment. What does the mall look like now in 2017?
I also have fond memories of when it was called Richmond Square. I also remember in the mall: Little Drummer Boy, Bus Stop, BC Tel Store, Boots Drugs, Simpsons-Sears, etc. Miss it!
I love videos like this that give tours of places at certain moments in time. It's probably the closest thing there is to time travel!

I remember there was a small play place somewhere in the middle of the mall!
It was the plane! I got kicked out of there because I was playing in it when I was way past the height limit.
