Hi guys! I've been watching a couple of your videos because I am considering moving to the US myself. I have noticed that you sometimes upload multiple videos in very short succession. Most RUclipsrs don't seem to do that, so please consider whether this might hurt your chances to get optimal reach for your content. Thanks for sharing your experiences and good luck!
Thanks for the feedback - we wanted to get some content up quite quickly to start, but will be posting one video a week from now on, as things with the move get busier. Hopefully we are providing some helpful information as you're considering a move to the US. It was the best decision for us at the time, but we feel the pull back to Blighty now. Please let us know if you'd like more information on moving to the US - are you thinking of anywhere in particluar?
@HereandTherewithHimandHer Thanks for offering! No need for any particular information on my part, just trying to get a feel for the vibe. But I am curious what visa you guys went with, even though I imagine it won't be actionable for me. Probably other viewers would be curious too. Do you guys mind sharing?
We will be talking about this in an upcoming video, but we we're lucky as Suzy was actually born in the US, so had dual citizenship from birth. That made it easy for Paul to get a spousal green card, and then to get US nationalization. Are you looking at specific visas?
I can say that in our profession as teachers we are paid more on paper, but the cost of living over here is much higher than the UK, so it really isn't much different. For other professions I do feel that the wages are better, however.
@HereandTherewithHimandHer we have visas through my husband company to move to states we will probably go for Orlando he gets a lot of money due to no income taxes but as you say with cost of living there at moment don't think we will be financially better or worse off
But you will get the lovely Orlando sunshine! Apart from the hurricanes, it is good weather most of the time. And I'm sure you'll have loads of people wanting to visit you as Orlando is a great location with the Disney parks and such - and then you're not too far from the beaches on either coast and the Keys to the south. Then there's Kennedy Space Centre... great place if you loike all that sort of thing! Let us know if you have any questions - we'd love to help if we can!

The banks have lots of financial incentives to join them over here too now
That's nice to hear - we have seen a little of that by looking at the Money Saving Expert website. Thanks for the comment!
Do you not get paid in the states better than UK tho?
