All the things you mentioned were on point. I think the biggest factor is the cover itself and like you said, "the cool factor". The cover has to resonate with the comic book community and rock fans to their foundations. There are a lot of covers that skyrocket, FOMO sets in and then POP it dives. The cover that has endurance and has an initial spike with a steady climb afterwards.
Hey man, WorldTravelNerd from instagram how is your channel only at 60 subs your setup and quality is very professional and like you said in video came back after a near 20 year comic collecting gap. This info is gold and ill definitely be binging these videos after work
Hi thank you for the enlightenment …. Wonderful knowledge. I have 2 questions: Q1) how do I know what’s the number of prints for either first, second or third print? Where can I get the info? Q2) for variant … how do I also know the ratio , where can I find out?
Great post. Thanks for all the info. And totally agree. If it's not fun and enjoyable then find another hobby. I also have the books you picked up. And the value while very cool. It should be the top reason for getting the book. Well that's my collecting mentality on comic books. To me it's about the hunt and finding cool books to add to my PC. If the price jumps up that's the cherry on top for me. :) appreciate your research and time. Talking about our hobby. Keep it up bud.
Very enlightening video learned a lot . I am a newbie. Where can I find the quantity of print for reprint ? How many was printed for the comic, and it’s reprint
Killer video, very informative!! You described my break from collecting perfectly🤣 Thanks for the really awesome giveaway on Instagram too! @benparkercomics
Comically Correct Comics it’s a lot to keep up with, I’m way behind on my reading lol The artwork has changed entirely and it’s incredible! I will always love the classic artists but man, this newer bunch are just killing it!!
Hey Bryan.. We are already friends with each other on our IG and I've entered to your giveaway!! Btw, I'm on the verge of buying this Invincible Iron Man #9 cover B the Turcotte variant from a local friend.. the book he is selling is in raw condition, has one very minor non color breaking spine tick and possibly a 9.6 candidate.. with a littke good pressing it may even bump up to 9.8 but you never know right.. how much do you think should I pay most in this condition? Thanks for the awesome giveawy.. Cheers!! :)
Raw copies are selling for as much as 600-700 right now on eBay! If it’s non-color breaking I would be hopeful for a 9.8 myself after a press. I’d say anything $500 or under would be safe. If u get that 9.8 you’re probably looking at a $3k book soon, but there’s a huge risk, an unseen fingerprint could land you a 9.0!
@@BrysComics thank you brother. I also want to sell, but not at your scale, just something to support my expensive hobby. I’m just a little apprehensive because it’s overwhelming. But once I get that first sale I’ll feel more confident. Good luck with everything.
creation of C.R.A.D.L.E. (Child-Hero Reconnaissance and Disruption Law Enforcement) whose commanders will make sure to prevent young people from being superheroes. I just Googled it. It's a very minor key i guess.
Oh right on! I just remember reading it and thinking nothing significant happened...but I’ll take it cuz I have a bunch of copies lol. The Daniel wraparound cover is 🔥
Great topic and great video. I've been getting interested in print runs myself lately and I've been picking up newsstands and some second prints with cool covers. Looking forward to you diving into more of these variants in future videos. Also would appreciate those extra spot in your Dell Otto Spider-Man giveaway! IG: @antigravityepidemic

It's tough because this info isn't readily available from the distributor. try this site:www.comichron.com/monthlycomicssales/2020/2020-03.html
@@BrysComics thank you sir. You buy lots of books of the same. Do you sell books? If you do...where?
@@comic_you_tank8512 right now I'm building my inventory...soon I will get more into selling and do live sales on IG and RUclips (and always eBay)

Isn't Outlawed also a minor key? Team CRADLE?
JR Claridad I don’t think so? Is that in outlawed 1?
