My Response to K Michelle Saying "Men Are Not Good People."🙏🏽

After listening to this conversation between #Kmichelle, #Frankski and I, I'm reminded how we mistakenly attribute the validation of our experiences to the conclusion we've drawn from them.
For instance, we may have very valid negative experiences in a relationship and conclude that relationships are all bad. Or we get crossed by someone we thought was a friend and conclude that no one is our friend.
Because the experience is valid and no one can take that from us, we feel like our perception created from that painful time is equally valid, but that's just a reflex of unhealed wounds. I don't care how pretty one is, convincing they sound, or sincere they are, the "all xyz is bad because I've been hurt before" is false, problematic, and self-sabatoging of anything that could be better.
