  • UFO witness reports, often do not have video. Using NEW A.I. video generation, it is now possible to visualise what these people encountered. Good news for TV news stories and UAP researchers. Please suggest you favourite encounters, and we can try to add accurate images to the record of the encounter.

    I don’t see how this does anything other than add noise to the problem. I understand the desire for more detail, but Midjourney is just making up details. We have the testimonies, embellishing them will not get us further to the truth. What even makes people believe we can trust what we are seeing? I think sticking to the hard science of what they do vs. what they look like is a more productive approach.

    • @invisiblecollege893
      @invisiblecollege893 2 месяца назад

      Quite the opposite. The more exposure of what things looked like to younger people will make it more real than just words. A picture tells a thousand words. Think of this. What if people just told you about dinosaurs instead of creating drawings, animation and movies. Which makes it more a reality. Words or the latter?

    • @TheDavidPoole
      @TheDavidPoole 2 месяца назад

      I agree, @lenfest, but the point he's making is from a RUclips content creators perspective. In such a case, this is great for them as you don't just have a talking head to look at.
      From the perspective of UFO research it adds little, if any, value.

    Excellent concept, Professor! Similar to how the police employ forensic artists to create visual depictions based on witness accounts, emerging visual A.I. technology holds promise. Although it’s still in its infancy, I believe that with a few more years of development, it will significantly enhance accuracy in representing witness descriptions. This becomes yet another valuable tool at our disposal. As for Topaz, while it can be pricey, occasional sales offer a more reasonable package cost-I’m eagerly awaiting the next sale, having missed the last one
    Also keep asking myself why is there not better photo’s / video out there of UFO’s / UAP’s

    Yeah Simon, but this sort of thing has been done with other forms of animation. Anyway-the mock up is not the xperience and can't make testimony more believable in the minds of skeptics, doubters and people who didn't share the event.

    Hi Simon, did you know that the UK was involved with the USA during " Sunshine Fatman and little Boy?" Just after the war. Been reading some interesting stuff,Nick may know of the Shelter under Corsham that allegedly stores the old paper reports on closed "Servers" as well as having a Communications centre in case GCHQ is compromised? It is allegedly big enough for up to 1.5k people. Very interesting things you can find out talking to Old men and women who either served or are children of someone who served. I was a Friend of one elderly lady who worked at Bletchley, and I met many strange people via my work. Long time ago now. If you have contact with Nick ask him" Who nicked the blown up photo"? He will hopefully tell you a good story regarding it.

    Thank you professor.
    I'm surprised to see a number of negative comments about this idea. I for one would love to get a better mental image of what these witnesses saw, and AI can really help put it in video form.
    To get a fair depiction of a sighting, the witnesses will have to give a clear account and details of what happened, and give feedback on the results of the video. And now (I just learned here), when it comes to AI, the prompts will also have to be descriptive and I expect a lot of trial and error to produce a true-to-sighting video.
    It really bugs me how so many videos about UAP throw in any picture they want. It doesn't have anything to do with the actual story. In fact, it muddies the waters even more.
    I'd also like to hear some talk within the UAP community, about tagging all pictures that go along with sightings. Some sort of tag whether it's color coded on the picture itself, electronically embedded in the file, or whatever, that gives information about the picture such as: Is this an actual photo or a rendition, is this an example or is it officially part of the story, etc. I'll let bigger minds than I work out the details.

    Using A.I. to model a ufo witness report seems to be very subjective. Specifically i would rather see real footage. Now,some folk may not have a camera with them on the occasion of an encounter but I'd find an a.i. reconstruction to be a problem. Basically anybody could make up an imagined encounter then use a.i. to fill in the gaps. It would surely only lead to obfuscate..
    Mind you, crack on Proff ! Your channel is ace😊👍🏼

    While it has potential benifits, there was considerable concern it could be used to easily mislead veiwers.

    I think the software is brilliant for film production etc and I can see that it could be useful to portray an event . However, it is very difficult to gather accurate evidence from a witness. Recording a witness testimony in writing can be difficult enough, sometimes a sketch drawn by the witness or an artist can help. I would imagine the AI software could help to illustrate what the witness saw… although it is fraught with difficulties. No two people see the same tree, as someone once said, what kind of tree would the AI draw ? The credibility of visual images and authenticity is diminishing by the day. What will be the consequences for us when you cannot trust any images ?

    You mean well. Having an algorithm 'interpret' your voice or text to bumpy animation is not the answer. The best way for people to create a vid of their experience would be to use FREE UnReal engine the same way video game back grounds are created. There are ALOT of existing imagery to choose from helping someone create the visual representation of their experience. Been saying this for 3yrs now.
    SORA, or Midjourney is NOT the way. People will allow the interpreted animation seamless movement Over Write what they saw, as 'similar enough'. Which will only could their true memmory more in the future.

      what? ... there are lots of written ufo reports that no one mentions because there are no images. i dont care how these are created, but they need to be honest and accurate to the witness... that will encourage tv and social media to look into some interesting but ignored encounters... thats my point...not irresponsible .. but opening new doors. a.i. is a tool to be used responsibly
