    damn, I love your advice. you actually told me all about it. and here i am guilty of numbers two and three. chaotically swallowing pills and piecemealing it at full throttle... regardless, looking forward to the final product.

    Would you prefer to set up your studio in a large living room (asymmetric walls, high asymmetric slanted ceiling, open to kitchen), or a standard medium sized rectangular bedroom?

      For isolation the living room would not work, but might make for an interesting live room. A rectangular sized bedroom is more predictable for mixing and symmetry for the phantom center. Without a concrete slab the floor will always be the weakest point from an isolation perspective.
