What about in a poured concrete foundation basement where not only the floor is a slab, but the walls are concrete too -- is any soundproofing treatment needed on the walls in that case? Great video !
Can we build baffle box or silencer ourself? or there is any good product for this in market apart from HRV system. We have HRV system in house but we want sound isolation from our office to rest of the house.
I did an attic conversion and have so far framed up the floor and walls… with that, there is no insulation from the lower level which is the ceiling to the floor of the conversion… I am wanting to make a studio but have gotten stuck on soundproofing… I have only seen to double drywall and green glue… I’m just wondering should I spray foam the whole room combined with fiberglass insulation insulation board and double the drywall? Or which combination would work best? Thanks I’m advance
There is a whole lot to unpack here. I would recommend a soundproof clarity call to really get a rock solid plan for your build: www.soundproofyourstudio.com/Step1

whats your oppinion on aircrete spray?
I’m not familiar with it.
After looking it up it seems it’s lightweight and probably not ideal for sound isolation beyond creating an air tight seal and fire resistance.
Best video yet!
Thanks!

Yes you can build a baffle box on your own
