A few months ago i ordered a coupe in chalk for my mom. It’s coming in as a 2023 model year. It arrives in a few weeks. Sad to hear that chalk is being discontinued, but glad i got my order in early.
If I were to spec a 718 Boxster GTS 4.0 manual how do I get the snap crackle and pop like the old GTS 2.5? …..do I get Sport Chrono Package with Sport Exhaust?
There are actually a lot of differences between 19 and 23. The transmission has a very different tune (for the better), pcm is obviously much better, and the brakes are also much bigger (again, for the better).
@hirschnet Thanks man for making it clear that the actual refresh is not coming this year! I was so confused by this video, as the guy keeps mentioning the "facelift for 2023 should be coming now". And i was like.... but its still the same car as previous years.
Hi Harley! At the time Porsche was removing it from the Cayenne. But so many were not happy about this news that after the release Porsche decided to keep it.
Mr. Whisperer, I am looking to order my Cayenne in 4-5 months so it's ready when my Mercedes lease experiences in Sept' 23. I can't get anyone to shoot it to me straight with this question, so I will give you a try. Do you think the GTS model is worth the price given the specs/HP per the S are so close? Which would you prefer if you were going to take this vehicle to the snow and highway drive the majority of the time?
Hi Kirk! Thank you for reaching out! Glad to hear you are planning on adding a Porsche to the stable! I believe the GTS is the best variant Porsche makes in any model and there is something very special about it, the sound, trim, sport design exterior aggressiveness, black accents, Race-Tex bits on the interior and the glorious V8 Engine. I would choose the GTS hands down! The S is an amazing vehicle but it does not drive, sound or look like the GTS. It doesn't matter so much if you plan on leasing it but they tend to hold their value better as well! The GTS will kill it in the snow just be sure you steer clear of the 22 inch wheels as these come with summer tires and won't do that well in the snow! Hope this helps 👍🏼
Hi thanks for your very informative videos. We're in the process of selecting the specifications to order a new Cayenne Coupe S. What are your thoughts on the Torque Vectoring Plus option, is it worth the price? Thanks
Thank you! You're welcome! How will you be using the vehicle? I believe it all depends on the usage... you can certainly feel a difference with those that have it and those that don't. If you plan on driving a bit more aggressively especially around corners I would recommend it. If you don't plan on driving it that hard you won't notice a substantial difference... hope this helps 👍🏼
Can't afford a Cayenne for another 2 years....my dream build would have been in Chalk color.......I'm crushed now. Why would they remove chalk? It's the nicest color they have 😞
Very detailed video Mase, thanks for it. Will the Porsche daschcam preparation comes as standard on MY2023 or do we need to spec it? In EU configs (Ireland) I can't see dashcam preparation as an option on MY2023 on the online configurators. Can you pls confirm thanks
I appreciate the confirmation. I have an expected delivery in September for a '23 Cayenne GTS and was worried the spy shots of the redesigned front fascia were going to be applied to the 2023 models. Tbh, I'm not a fan of the early images of the redesign. Very happy to hear about the updated PCM with wireless Android Auto. I almost went for the Chalk paint, but opted for Quartzite Grey metallic and plan to apply a matte ppf. I've always loved a satin/matte paint finish.
You're welcome 🙏🏼 The GTS is such a monster your going to absolutely love it 😊 I am with you there in terms of the front Fascia. The matte PPF will look amazing on it! Send pics once you get it please to pcarwhisperer@gmail.com! Would love to see it 😊
@@sevankessissian4308 Nah, for a couple reasons: 1) I'm not a fan of the early images of the redesign for the new generation. 2) You never know when Porsche will decide to pull the V8 that they reintroduced for this generation from the Cayenne line in the march towards hybrids & electrics due to stricter emission regulations. That motor and mellifluous exhaust note is worth the price of admission. 3) I need time pay this one off and save for an ICE 911 GTS before they go extinct.
Great videos! My wife wants a Macan only because of Miami blue. I’d prefer the Cayenne because of its larger size. Is it possible to order the Cayenne in Miami blue , and if so, do you know a ballpark cost estimate?
Thank you Scott! Thanks for reaching out! At the moment it is not being offered through Paint to Sample to option! I would possibly recommend wrapping the car 👍🏼
You will likely have until April 2023 to still order a 2023 model. I placed my order in May of 2022 and was told I was on the cusp of the switchover and will be receiving the 2023 model. But your dealer should have a more accurate timeline for you, don't take my anecdote as gospel.
Hello! It will entirely depend on the particular Cayenne variant you are looking for! There have been alot of delays at the moment most recently a shortage of help at the Port of Emden holding up cars stuck at the port waiting for ships. I would certainly guess quarter 1 of next year sometime 👍🏼
It's really hard to not go for the GTS. That 4.0L turbo V8 is an incredible motor, sounds amazing, and will likely be one of the last Porsche V8s we ever see.
@@JustClapIt I'm such a petrol head that I would likely lean towards the S. The hybrid has about 420lb more curb weight and that will impact the driving experience. But if you need a daily driver to maximize fuel efficiency, then the hybrid will serve you better.
Do you live in a hot climate? I have the E hybrid and the best feature is being able to turn on the aircon while I’m at the beach and the car is nice and cool to get into :)
Just sold my MY21 cayenne coupe, but surely will order a new MY24 model. Once Porsche, always Porsche.

@@akhildjz5935 In Oz, it is good, but it quite depends on which service centre.

When is the face lift cayenne coupe going to be launched ? 2023 or 2024?

I just ordered Porsche Cayennee coupe hybrid and will get it 2-3/2023 😀
Awesome congrats Markku! You're going to love it!
Thanks for the info Mase! New PCM looks slick!
The Cayenne is changing in 2024, not 2023. It was delayed. It’s basically the same vehicle as the 2019 Cayenne, besides the PCM.
Yes exactly! 2024 is the year of the refresh!
@@Pcarwhisperer Hello i had a question so the cayenne facelift will be unveiled and ready to order when ? is it now in august / thanks

when can we expect to be able to order the next generation cayenne for 2024?
I would expect to be able to see it in the configurator sometime this summer! June-July 👍🏼
I have a 2021 Cayenne eHybrid and I'm not sure what the 'individual' button is for on the center console, can you explain it's use?
It allows you to configure various drive settings to your liking, ie engine tuning, hybrid vs sport mode, chassis stiffness, etc
Is there a way to keep the old ui theme. Hate the new one.
The only way is to purchase a Cayenne that is pre PCM 6.0 update. 2019-2021 and early 2022's. 👍🏼

an option since it's also one in europe for the Taycan
