- In this edition of First Person One on One, Paul Schankman interviews William Wallace about his latest book on Michelangelo. Wallace is a Washington University Professor of Art History, and an internationally recognized expert on Michelangelo's life and work. In this book, his seventh on the artist, Wallace looks at the final 20 years of Michelangelo's unusually long life, in particular the 18 years he spent supervising the redesign and reconstruction of St. Peter's Basilica in Rome.
