Thanks for these...back in the early '70s I used to ride my bike to watch the D&H power in Watervliet, NY, near the old Allegheny Ludlum steelworks...great stuff!
Thanks for posting these videos and keep them coming. In the 1990's, my son and I would chase the D&H from the Nicholson viaduct down to the Taylor intermodal yard. CP Rail owner them by then, but they still had one of four GP38-2's painted in D&H colors on the head end. I believe Bernie was still working in the yard office then before he retired. The building is long gone, which is sad.
Watched this with a railroad club a while ago and it featured D&H's Oneonta roundhouse. Believe it or not, the D&H had the largest roundhouse ever built, unfortunately most people aren't aware of this as it isn't "officially" recognized as such.
Nice scenes of the G&J
Mike had a way with his commentary to keep it interesting.
I wonder if Big Mike will ever get the key to the City of Ardmore 🤣
Love those U33C’s! They look so beast!!

4:16 “Oh, c’mon.” I’d like to think Big Mike would have been great at color commentary of sporting events in another life!

It is a shame they tore down that Yard office in Taylor
Awesome video, thanks for sharing!
Lovely bit of filming, sounded great too👍👍👍👋
Comment number one !!! Love the videos!!
Great video of a first class railroad system. Never saw any of those D&H units on the rails but I've got several of them on my HO scale layout.

Great footage! Did the narrator ever do voiceovers for Carvell ice cream? Willy the Whale...Cookiepuss...just wonderin'.
Awesome video 😊
I remember seeing D&H on the northeast corridor…rare
At 1:03, I'd like to know what happened there.😮😮😮😮
I’ll take anything from the old Scranton Division.

High nose RS 11's rule !!!!
The engineers don't wave from the trains anymore; not they did back in 1954!
