Just ordered a 1PS for my 2014 Subie Foz XT. Only thing I would criticize Mictuning for, is that the "strobe" actually is more of a "flash" or "blink". They added a 4th mode that is more strobe-like now (November 2024). Since this uses a microcontroller or similar, I would like an option to adjust the strobe/flash frequency from 1 to 16 flashes per second. You can always add a strobe relay to one steady output, but it could easily be incorporated into the firmware instead.

I'll reply here too. I think at the time I was just trying to find out if there was a normal positive switching device available. They did send me another and it was switching the positive. It only lasted for about ten months and then started going crazy. Randomly honking horns and flashing lights. I just finished replacing it. I hope this one survives.

Great Video, going to be adding one to my Silverado.
What Gauge Wire did you run from breaker to gang fuse box for main power?

Much appreciated. Should be great in there. It comes with its own main power lines from breaker to box so you should be good to go.

If I connect the system to ACC, do I need press the on button always after turning car on? Or it'll be on automatically the way I left it before turning the car off?
And ACC works as trigger or power source? Cause I don't think ACC can handle so much if used as power source for fans, LEDs etc.If I connect the system to ACC, do I need press the on button always after turning car on? Or it'll be on automatically the way I left it before turning the car off?

I ordered one from Aliexpress (bad choice, but the first shipping estimate from their own website was 60 USD to Sweden, so I went to Aliexpress, checking on my computer I got a better shipment estimate, but I already ordered so...)
I hope the ACC turns on the control box automatically, it would be an obvious missed feature otherwise IMO.

It's a copy of the Aux power system except aux has phone app and can work with your cars touch screen and no relays.

QUESTION: The P1 version switches the negative, which is stupid and dangerous. Does the P1-S switch the negative or positive. Please take a test light from ground and see if the positive terminals are always hot.
COMMENT: In 120 volt house wiring, switching the negative is illegal because it's dangerous. If these 12 volt switching devices are switching on the the negative side of the circuit, it can cause all kinds of back feeding issues, and it's just plain stupid. A good example. How would you hook this switch to a horn that is internally bonded to chassis ground. Lights that are internally grounded to the mounting bracket. You can't.

Do you really have 120 DC in houses? Or do you mean live/neutral and not positive/ground?
I just watched another video on the P1s and it is common ground and switches on positive 👍

Hey Benny, The first one I ordered had a common hot and it switched the negative lead. Who in their right mind would even install it. There is nothing in a vehicle that is ground switched. However, about the same time I ordered that goofy ground switching thing, I discovered that the horn on my electric MC has an always on positive lead, and honks by the negative lead. For awhile I thought the whole world was going crazy, but no it's just Japan.
