SECRET TRICKS ON TOP BIKE - TOP FUEL NITRO MOTORCYCLE OF RECORD HOLDER CHRIS MATHESON - 6.03 in IHRA

Enjoy this close look at the quickest and fastest motorcycle in Australia, the Top Fuel Nitro Drag Bike of Team “Nitro Voodoo” and Chris Matheson. Top Fuel Motorcycle is a class that was founded on innovation and Matheson shows us the custom throttle, grips and ram air system on his one of a kind machine, originally built by Larry “Spiderman” McBride and Jimmy “Hulk” Brantley. Since his unfortunate crash in 2013 Matheson has redesigned the bike and even created his own motor. He ran an all time best of 6.03 in June on a pass where he shut off at 800 feet. The quality of tracks and short stomping distance is what has kept Matheson from running a five. He hopes to be the first in Australia to accomplish the feat and also hopes to run on the longer smoother tracks in the United States someday soon.

Chris is sick am awesome.guy. So friendly and knowledgeable. The ram air breather to the fuel cell is a great idea to avoid wacuum in the cell.

Nice work once again. Chris articulated himself well and the bike is certainly a beast. I've watched (on the TV) Chris for some time now and it always frustrates me that he never seems to complete a full power pass. And now I know why... not enough runoff. We've all been wondering what it could do if under full power for the full 1320.

Jay Upton has the same this on his his throttle grip. He's been doing that for years, even before he was in top fuel and used a bit of wooden dowel.
