- MERMAID SWIMMING PRACTICE - BUBBLE KISSES AND UNDERWATER MERMAID TRICKS: Swimming Practice for ADEX Singapore 2019 ♥ ALERT!!! ♥ Apparently Mermaid Phantom is now officially the Queen of Darkness!! This started out as a silly little joke on an Instagram post, but now it has become a title for Mermaid Phantom!! EEEEKKK!! They posted it as my title on the ADEX Singapore 2019 "Mermaiding Future Forward" poster. I didn't ask them to. They just showed it to me and said "is this okay?" Gaaahhhh....!!! MY LIFE IS COMPLETE NOW!!!
Now that the Goth in me has gotten out that bit of excitement, I want to tell you a bit about this video. As you know, I don't usually swim or film in swimming pools. Living so close to Lake Michigan, it only makes sense to swim in the freshwater lakes as opposed to chemically enhanced pools. Yuck. HOWEVER! There are only about 2 and a half months out of the year that allow for swimming in the Great Lakes. Unfortunately, this time of the year is NOT a time when I can jump into the lake. But, with ADEX 2019 drawing near, I wanted to get the chance to test out my new makeup, see how my wig is looking (video of the new wig coming soon!) and to practice some swimming styles and tricks. This is the FIRST video EVER where you have seen me blow a bubble kiss! Bwahaha! I don't know how I've lived without them all of these years. They're so fun and so simply!! ♥
I filmed this back in early March, and have practiced some swimming since filming this video too. Maybe you'll see more footage of that later? ANYWAYS! Let's talk about the ADEX Dive Expo.
I will be attending the Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) in Singapore this year as a mermaid! I am one of many mermaids from around the world to be invited to this event to help the Mermaid Alliance spread mermaid magic at the event. I will be swimming in a tank with some REALLY incredible merfolk (mermaids AND mermen) and hope to spend some time on dry land helping out at the Mermaid Alliance booth in any way that I can. OH!!! And I forgot to mention that I will be creating and giving a speech while at the event too. I haven't given a speech since high school, so I am SUPER nervous!! But I'll do my best! ♥
Although I'm currently still in the "scared to death," and "oh my gosh did I pack everything!?!" phases, I am really looking forward to attending the event and meeting the wonderful people that will be there. This year is dedicated to a "Plastic Free Future." ♥
Okay my friends... I'm going to stop writing now. My hands are tired!! I will do my best to capture some video and/or picture footage of the Dive Expo, the merfolk AND Singapore for you to see! ♥

I don't think you know how much I needed to see this today. I was really struggling with anxiety earlier this afternoon and it was keeping me from getting work done that I needed to do. Seeing someone so much at peace with themselves and their surroundings, disappearing into a character and sharing their joy in doing so with the rest of the world, settled my soul down in ways I can't put into words. Thank you, Mermaid Phantom, for reminding all of us of the colour and magic still to be found in this crazy mixed-up universe of ours.

Bubble rings are probably my favorite mermaid trick cause they're fairly easy & so much fun. Sadly I need to hold my nose to do them or else bad things happen.

Hi Phantom 😊I just watched some of your posts I found through you video about Redbubble and had to comment on your channel ! First if you are a weirdo ! I love wierdo's 😂 your fun is from what you love to do 👍your fairy, goth and mermaid vids are beautiful and good clean fun ! I love to make stuff and it has been my sanity for many years although I have had difficult times my serenity comes from my Creator God 😇❤️

I love you the real mermaid. They are the real wonders of nature. They are the real gods, not common human woman & men. They really live in earth not understanding in human beings. And they are birth in earth as many creatures for take off sins.

Sweet! I am hoping to work on more after the trip to Singapore. However, I can't do too many because materials do cost quite a bit! But there are some more DIY's planned for sure. You can expect at least one per month, at the very least! ♥

About the crafting video's i do like the fairydust video's a lot and i don't think glitter has a high price.
You can actually find it in the dollar store.
