Are they allowing monofins again? I haven't been there in years! They banned mermaid tails and monofins for the longest time. I hope you are able to go and have some fun even without the gear! 💖
@@CourtneyMermaid they do allow monofins! I was there on Halloween night in my finfun lotus moon and nobody gave me any trouble about it :) Mermaid Amatheia told me on the merloops pod that they allow mermaids but no cameras in there. So i guess ill have to wait till summer to get pictures in my tail but at least i can practice in the meantime! :D
Sometimes I have dreams that I'm swimming in a deep pool with a mermaid tail. Often there's something happening that's preventing me from really enjoying it, like small children getting in the way, but the environment is still so freeing.
Here’s me watching more mermaid videos with my Luna (which you inspired me to get!) knowing full well that I’ve had my monofin for a while now but all the pools in my area don’t allow mono fins and it’s illegal in my county to swim in natural bodies of water
I saw this video and it inspired me so much to try a flip and upside down combo at my meet the next day. I had to keep my arm down by my hips because I kept smacking my butt. It's so much fun and I can't wait to perfect my upside down kick!
I remember my old pool was concrete or rough plaster. I used to hang out on the bottom and my fingers would get so raw my finger tips bled. Some times the tops of my toes cause I didn't have a monofin back then. My memories at the public pool consist of younger kids standing on my head in the deep end lol.
I have both monofins, and the only difference in agility/maneuverability is that the fluke tips of the FF3 fold over in turns (as you can see in the video). They definitely got in my way when it came to visibility! The Lucia doesn’t have the extreme flop, and is easier to work with in that regard
I've noticed you're wearing the Lucia more... Has it become your new favorite? I'm a Luna girl in the pool. But a mermaid linden/ and triton in the river. But have considered getting the Lucia. The price is the only issue on the Lucia for me.
The Lucia has become one of my favourites for sure. I still love the Luna, but the size of the Lucia is more appealing to me. It's worth getting if you are able to swing it!
Is there any way you could do a video about tricks specific to shallow water? I only have access to a shallow pool and can only do about three things, limited to the depth. Most trick videos I see are only for deep water, but what can you do in shallow water that still looks impressive?

I think you know mine! Definitely walk the wall (with and without variants), hangtime, infinity backflips, and diving!
