I don't understand why (in my opinion) so few people view your valuable contributions on youtube, lets go Kaspa community and thank you Kaspa Silver you deserve more 🙏
Thank you for your kind words. I would say I’ve been blessed and happy with where the channel is at. My viewers are always pleased with my content and it’s growing pretty consistently. Less is more sometimes and this channel is an example of that. No need for crazy editing, price action talk 24/7, and click baiting titles/thunbnails. I enjoy just delivering what I believe a good bit of people care about. That’s learning about Kaspa in a more educational type of manner. Kaspa will win with education.
@@KaspaSilverthe knowledge you have shared without trying to predict or pump the price of Kaspa has given many of us the conviction and the confidence to hodl without fear and doubt, thank you for all you do, 10 years from now you’ll be considered a legend in the crypto world thank you!
@@Middleclasshillbilly I thank you for that. Most people dump coins that they have cause they have no idea what they are holding or understand what they are doing. Kaspa is not a coin to hold and have no idea what you are holding.
Thanks for the info! Do you know how to update KDX wallet to latest version? My wallet stopped connecting due to it being version 12.15, I'm having trouble figuring out how to update it to 12.17? Thanks for your input in advance
Kaspa is a unique long term play. Since i went all in kas a year ago i recently gave up on more gains this cycle🤷♂️ its the Safest asset by far and jas the best risk/ reward ratio but the price Action is a separate thing it seems.
You said it yourself it’s a safer play. You’re not investing in some overly hyped technologically unimpressive AI crypto or meme coin. You’re invested in a technology advanced cryptocurrency that has yet to receive adoption at the scale of solana and ethereum. The price action might be unimpressive this bull run but you better believe that when rust and smart contracts go live and projects start migrating to kaspa you’re going to look like a genius for holding for so long. It’s as safe as you can get in this market. The price will be boring for a very long time. Many other projects will outperform kaspa but you will sleep comfortably at night for the next 5-10 year knowing you own one of the best crypto projects of the decade. Nothing will compete with kaspa until then.
Price action has basically been very strong and stable. All I see is strength. Yes tons of coins pumped and kaspa didn’t but look at the market now many of them are right back to where they were at the start of the year. Don’t forget it’s not like kaspa didn’t make an all time high recently cause it did. How many projects are putting in all time highs left and right like kaspa is.
@@KaspaSilver yes ur right i agree. It is just that i can not see it pumping from 0.20 up to 1$ at least in this cycle considering how high the selling pressure was in the last 2 leg ups in price. I hope i am wrong, all i see is 0.25-0.40😅😅. I mean the bull cycle will not last forever.
Have you looked at the last bull run? ADA out of nowhere pumped to 90 billion in 2 months. It also had a run to 4 billion and then crash to 2 billion. To then go to 90. It’s definitely not impossible
@@KaspaSilverabsolutely right. I will not sell anything untill this will happen and i strongly hope this will play out this cycle. On the other hand everybody waiting for this to happen + it was a difficult climbe up since it broke the 1billion mcap. It took freakin weeks, even months to get rid of this selling pressure. Its hard to imagine to 10x it from today cuz of this. 🤷♂️
No still in alpha but planned to be ready in summer time. 1-2 months. You can use it but it does have bugs and the seed phrase from kdx is not compatible yet.
Good stuff man I'm wondering did you make a video about node set up? Not for mining, but just to have a node and contribute to decentralization? I'm interested in what kind of computing resources are needed Don't be average ❤
It would be in the kdx tutorial videos. If you just want one to set up to contribute I would encourage you to watch the KNG tutorial and set up a node with that. That way you are doing two things. Running a node for kaspa and testing the new desktop application that everyone will be using soon.
@@KaspaSilver i saw it But kdx is on go lang I should use kng as rust lang? In addition what are the performances needed? Ram, ssd, ecc? Thanks in advance :)
KNG should run on just about anything. You only should need like 20GB of space and expect it to increase over time but you could always delete if it gets too big. KNG is nice cause you can watch the visualization of the blockdag. Even though it’s on RUST doesn’t matter cause it’s compatible with the mainnet on Golang.
@@KaspaSilver I've done some research, and the resources needed for setting up a Kaspa node compared to those for a BTC node are a bit more stringent and require a higher contribution in terms of price... thus compromising decentralization as well. This may be a drawback wrt BTC, however, it's something that will become increasingly irrelevant as technology advances. I'm gonna try to set up a node with something like a raspberry pi... I will update you:)
Code will change and as long as enough miners switch over then it should be seamless. If anything two networks exists and if the false network gets adoption you get free coins to dump for the real thing. Similar to a BCH situation but the difference is we have no disagreement about hard forking like bitcoin and bch did so I doubt there will be another network that exists. Miners would be mining to a dead network with no development.
Hi, thanks for your video! I have a question, i own a miner KS3M and it's on hosting at Iceriver mining farm. Is ot possible to switch that miner to Rust in order to be more efficient and do a batter mining?
Good question. It may have been at the time the devs that started on kaspa were not familiar with rust enough yet and go lang was chosen to start. Kaspa has a very interesting launch where the funding just wasn’t there to have a perfect launch with no problems.
Kaspa had a launch that wasn’t very organized. Devs at the time probably didn’t know rust enough to start building kaspa that way and eventually it was given to the public and reliant on donations to keep development alive.
Nope, should not be the case. If anything worse case scenario you would have networks with the same amount of coins. You can keep the coins in the false network and just dump them if it ever becomes adopted at all or it will just dissaperar. But this is if miners choose to not hardfork which there is no reason to not to.
Well it’ll be better if you explained yourself. Not necessarily isn’t clear. lol it either needs rust or it doesn’t. And it needs rust to do upgrades because if not we would have a very inefficient network that could not handle major adoption. + devs are building everything new on rust.
*DISCLAIMER*: This guy is a TROLL he goes on every kaspa video and fuds the hell out of it. He offers no constructive criticism. Just says things like “kaspa is dead” without any explanation. Pay him no mind.

Yup very true. When I get back from my break I’ll be making a video about explaining pruning on Kaspa. How it helps with decentralization of nodes.

If I'm using the KDX node to access a CLI wallet, should I switch to the Rust node program? Would I still be able to access CLI wallet through rust?
Yes, you should be able to cause CLI should read a node is running. Using kng should work if you just trying to use a node.
Thanks for your content!! So once the hard fork is done, will we have to migrate the Kas coin or is it just the code that changes?

What does this mean for the KAS we have already invested in ? When rusty KAS is up and running will we have to trade the old KAS for the new ? …
No, there is no new Kaspa coin being created.
it is similar to btc ?
Does the hardfork mean that we will have a new coin?
should be a seamless transition as long as all miners agree to the change.
Hi, thanks for your video! I have a question, i own a miner KS3M and it's on hosting at Iceriver mining farm. Is ot possible to switch that miner to Rust in order to be more efficient and do a batter mining?
That would be icerivers job to change to rust. Nothing you can do except maybe reach out to them and ask them.
why we did not build it on Rust from the beginning.
Good question. It may have been at the time the devs that started on kaspa were not familiar with rust enough yet and go lang was chosen to start. Kaspa has a very interesting launch where the funding just wasn’t there to have a perfect launch with no problems.
is Yonatan Sompolinsky still part of Kaspa community?
Yes
brother does my kaspa wallet effect on hard fork
No
So is it a concern because kaspa on rust like sol it may crash and transaction may not go through?
No because Solana does not use the same consensus mechanism. It uses proof of stake instead of PoW. PoW allows for transactions to be much smoother.
Nice video like usual, why didn't they use rust from the start
Kaspa had a launch that wasn’t very organized. Devs at the time probably didn’t know rust enough to start building kaspa that way and eventually it was given to the public and reliant on donations to keep development alive.

when we hard fork do we have to migrate our tokens?

It means that a different programming language has been used, but the protocoll remains the same ! So it is not that significant
Well it’s significant because once this is done it will allow all future upgrades to happen.
not necessarily@@KaspaSilver
I don’t know what you mean by that. Everything moving forwards needs RUST to be on mainnet so that we can upgrade.
@@KaspaSilver i agree...you dont know!
