I take lot of his advise on some topics, but some of the stuff he does and says are against the religion and I worry that other people will get the wrong impression of Islam. My issue is the number of Muslim fans he had before his conversation to Islam and his incorrect views about Islam prior to his conversation. He seemed to believe (before converting) that Muslim women were under a tight leash and that their husband cloaks them in black clothing and ready to beat them when they are out of line. You said this in a good way. You have assessed Tate properly when you say he wears MANYNHATS. As a revert I was in my 50's, it was difficult...a LIFETIME OF pork, promiscuity, alcohol. I obtained from those in stages. And now in my mid 60's I finally learned my prayers and pray 5 times and had to give of my feminists thinking that I really did not know how entrenched it was with my personality. Im not a follower of Tate but as what i hear from our brother is but truth from the quraan as to how a muslim should live and conduct himself or herself. It is a lesson for all of us as muslims as well as those who has that seed that needs that bit of watering to sprout wanting to revert to the religion of Islam and live a life according to the quraan and the sunnah of the prophet Muhammed may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. When someone reverts then it is becomes incumbent on him to start and slowly learn. If Tate is two years a muslim now then it should become a concern to us as muslims as to his conduct in videos as mentioned and as by now there should be some changes in this conduct. Im sure a person with such stature should have had a Sheigh or spritual leader to guide him. It should be of concern as to the system we as muslims have to teach new reverts. Tawakkul in Allah includes taking the means, so please start praying immediately, even if you only start with one prayer a day, you absolutely must start and have the thought to sincerely pray them all in your heart. Make du'a that Allah makes it easy for you, but also go through the motions. You and your body have to understand that there is no choice in the matter. Just as you cannot keep from breathing or eating or sleeping, this is how important and automatic praying must be as well.

Yes 2 years but some do need time, can’t really put a time on it. It must be difficult being a playboy then trying to change, especially if your environment hasn’t changed. You said this in a good way. You have assessed Tate properly when you say he wears MANYNHATS. As a revert I was in my 50's, it was difficult...a LIFETIME OF pork, promiscuity, alcohol. I obtained from those in stages. And now in my mid 60's I finally learned my prayers and pray 5 times and had to give of my feminists thinking that I really did not know how entrenched it was with my personality. It is EASIER for ARAB MUSLIMS who never tasted alcohol, never grew up eating pork and grew up with the Arab language.....Inshallah he accepts your invitation and surrounds himself with Muslims who can have an influence on him

Im not a follower of Tate but as what i hear from our brother is but truth from the quraan as to how a muslim should live and conduct himself or herself. It is a lesson for all of us as muslims as well as those who has that seed that needs that bit of watering to sprout wanting to revert to the religion of Islam and live a life according to the quraan and the sunnah of the prophet Muhammed may peace and blessings of Allah be upon him. When someone reverts then it is becomes incumbent on him to start and slowly learn. If Tate is two years a muslim now then it should become a concern to us as muslims as to his conduct in videos as mentioned and as by now there should be some changes in this conduct. Im sure a person with such stature should have had a Sheigh or spritual leader to guide him. It should be of concern as to the system we as muslims have to teach new reverts. Also a man who has that type of money then it should not be a problem to go and seel knowledge. As the quran mentions that even should you go as far as CHINA. May Allah forgive our shortcomings.

May Allah beautify al-Islam for you and allow you to fulfill the obligations of it. Ameen. But sis, it's not enough to simply pray. Tawakkul in Allah includes taking the means, so please start praying immediately, even if you only start with one prayer a day, you absolutely must start and have the thought to sincerely pray them all in your heart. Make du'a that Allah makes it easy for you, but also go through the motions. You and your body have to understand that there is no choice in the matter. Just as you cannot keep from breathing or eating or sleeping, this is how important and automatic praying must be as well.
