    Btc is like white and black TV. Kaspa is like a color TV. Kaspa is just a better version of btc. Fast secure scalable. Cheaper transactions. It has actually use case for peer to peer transactions that are fast. You can send a million dollars in a second or so. Plus kaspa is what btc was supposed to be. It's the true Satoshi vision

    Hello and thank you very much for your video. I have always been amazed by the quality of your ideas, your opinions on what people say and especially on bitcoin maxi.
    I also liked the verse from Proverbs 15:1 at the beginning of the video. You are the first RUclips channel I came across when I started my research on Kaspa and I was not even once disappointed.
    I am in Africa and more precisely in Burkina Faso and I can say with certainty that Kaspa will be a lasting solution for many countries in order to make their economies strong due to the weakness of local currencies but also to facilitate current transactions for populations with only a banking rate of 23.4% in 2021 and 24.3% in 2022. In my country this rate is 21%.
    With mobile money it is easier to make transactions but when people understand decentralization, they will all turn to Kaspa whose waiting time is shorter than the mobile money system.
    Thank you again for everything and may the Lord bless you abundantly for all the wonderful work you do on Kaspa.

    Excellent rebuttal. My guess is, deep down, Kratter knows that Kaspa is the future but it's too painful to change the name of his channel for a second time!! 😂🤣 (It used to be called 'Trader University'.) But seriously, I hope more Bitcoin Maxi's wake up before they miss out. Buying Kaspa today at 0.17 cents per coin is like buying Bitcoin when it was about $250 per coin. Even Peter Thiel, one of the smartest investors on the planet, feels that Bitcoin has very little upside left. Kaspa will likely rule the future of digital currency.

  • @Baerchenization
    @Baerchenization 3 месяца назад +4

    Another note, sorry. So yes, Yonatan did create KAS to get rich. 2-3 days ago, the co-founder Shai went on interview with Your Friend Andy, and he said they did a heavy mining effort at the launch of KAS to the effect of ca 3.5% of KAS supply, half of which went to investors, and the other half to the team, 7 people at the time, as he says. Now he said by way of disclosure, this yielded him personally 3.9 million KAS, and if they shared the mining output fairly, Yonatan also basically got 4 million KAS off the bat. So if you are a KAS fanboy and believe KAS can hit 10 dollars by 2029, Yonatan will have sorted out his retirement to the tune of 40 million dollars already. So again, also Yonatan did not simply give Kaspa as an altruistic gift to the community... I do not object, since the are 24 billion going around, I just want to point it out as a matter of fact.

    • @KaspaSilver
      @KaspaSilver  3 месяца назад +8

      Nothing wrong with founders getting all their coins fairly. Who cares. You cannot prove that Satoshi after mining his stack and decided to not touch that decided to mine or purchase more btc on the side with undisclosed wallets. It does not matter. As long as all kaspa is gotten fairly is what matters.

      Besides the pow system( which is fatal as far as I am concerned). I would also disagree with your pruned node solution. Yes both of them can run pruned nodes but its trivial to run an archived node for BTC. An archived node is better than a pruned node. That's why we have archeologists. If the block size did not matter because we can all just run pruned nodes then large block size block chains are almost as good so run BSV.
      Its not all win, win, win, in every way and even a BTC maxi understands this. There are trade offs.

    • @KaspaSilver
      @KaspaSilver  3 месяца назад +1

      You’re right it’s extremely important that an archival node exists in btc but it’s not necessary for Kaspa because in btc if there are no archival nodes then new comers can never run a node. In kaspa this isn’t the case. And no larger blocks is not better because then the pruned nodes cannot be run by everyday people which is the point of nodes to be run by many. Yes there are trade offs and the trade off of not making an archival node absolutely necessary for the chain is a good trade off cause you don’t need it.

    BTC maxi here. I immensely appreciate your emotional maturity. It allowed me to watch the entire vid. But I am unmoved by any of your arguments/opinions. I would say I now have a higher regard for Kaspa because of this video but the truth is that I never heard of Kaspa until Matthew's video. That can't bode well for Kaspa.
    fyi, you still accumulating bitcoin will land in the maxi community as proof to bitcoin's superiority because not a single maxi would ever accumulate any non-bitcoin.

    • @KaspaSilver
      @KaspaSilver  3 месяца назад +3

      Thank you I really appreciate your comment. Your statement that you never heard kaspa until Matthew is actually a really bullish thing for kaspa. Kaspa has gotten so much attention a bitcoin maxi with over 200K subs had to address it because it’s getting to the point where it cannot be ignored. Kaspa is still young but growing very rapidly.
      Now on my accumulation of bitcoin. I am no maxi. I am a PoW maxi that cares about stateless money. Bitcoin is not money but I cannot deny its value it still has in this space. Just so you know kaspa is 99% of my portfolio. Kaspa is my hedge against Bitcoin but I buy other things like stocks real estate etc..
      Maximalism isn’t wise in my opinion. This is one of the main problem with the Bitcoin community. They turned Bitcoin into a religion instead of a stateless currency. So now something that is actually a worthy contender to compete is getting adopted and I won’t ignore it.
      If I’m wrong I’m wrong and willing to accept that. But if I’m right well I made a right choice. Always keep researching.

Why does it need close to 100% before fork? I'm sorry I know very little about crypto. I need it all explained. How are ideas generated. Is it only Kaspa team making ideas. Can anyone post an idea. Whats the setup for new ideas? Can only kaspa team propose code changes? Can anyone post code and try to get it implemented through some process? How closed is the software team? Can anyone join the software team? What are all the stages where voting occurs. The nodes vote somehow. How does that work? Is there voting before that stage like after an idea but before software team writes the code? How are ideas voted on prior to pushing to code release? Do coin holders ever vote in any way? Do miners ever vote in any way? Explain it all. I know nothing.

      I'm not a Bitcoin maximalist, but if someone decides to take down the few archive nodes of Kaspa, it would be problematic to run Kaspa as a legitimate currency because it would become a coin that's hard to track. I don't think authorities would want to deal with an "anonymous" coin.
      Anyway, 2 TB is soon going to become the standard in most laptops. It's much easier to run a full Bitcoin node, especially as we're heading towards a data-heavy future with around 10 blocks per second.

There are quite a few people that run archival including centralized entities that would take over running them as well. There is no reason to run an archival node unless you need to run an explorer for kaspa.

      I did. I even picked up a little to put skin in the game. I am a recent bitcoin Maxi. I like the blockdag, but I do not like Kaspa turns out. The pow system sucks. "Low power " is an improvement to bitcoin FUD. The pow btc system is not a bug, its a feature and an essential one. Kaspa turns pow into CAPEX which turns it into DC centralization. The BTC system is designed on low economic rents where one will find free and stranded energy. which is like a view of the lake which runs out until you go to another lake. Kaspa will just see hash rate concentration in a DC since it take power off the table. So I'm out.

I think not having archival as a default is a trade, even if its got mathematical proof in the pruning algorithm. However one can argue that the trade off is worth it. Had they not messed with the pow system, I'd be far more conflicted.
      "Merchants and master manufacturers are
      the two classes of (c)-order people who commonly employ
      the largest amounts of capital, and who by their wealth draw

      often more acuteness of understanding than most country
      gentlemen do. But their thoughts are commonly exercised
      on the •interest of their particular branch of business than on the interest of the society." Adam Smith
      There was a reason why Satoshi chose that pow system. It was not a mistake, or an oopsie that needed to be fixed. Its essential.

    Good words. Love your response the best out of the ones I've seen.
    In regards to fees vs inflation, Matthew implies that fees is the only way, but really I think we SHOULD be open to inflation rather than fees. Why?
    Simply, because fees are not a stable mechanism to secure a network. To give a concrete example, suppose Kaspa does become a world currency, what happens if there is a worldwide recession?
    In such a recession, fees would plummet, with it hashrate would plummet due to miners shutting down, and the remaining miners would be way more tempted to risk the price of their infrastructure in a double spend, since there would be little liquidity to sell on their infrastructure.
    On the other hand with tail emission (or even flat emission) there would be a guarantee of a stable hashrate, and in fact mining in times of recession would become MORE attractive, and provide new liquidity to the global economy in a fair way, damping the worst effects of such a recession. All this could be achieved at a simple 0.5% annual rate, which is what BTC is at now.
    In either scenario the users and holders of the network pay, it's just that an inflation fee is disliked because in fiat, inflation has spiralled out of control, but that is because it is in the hands of a few and not a determined, stable rate meant for rewarding miners.

    • @gwynedd1
      @gwynedd1 3 месяца назад +1

      yeah that is another problem. Too much working the save on fee side of the equation . Fees help to support the network. However before that can happen there needs to be a consistent subsidy so I think kaspa also messed up on the tokenomics.

    • @KaspaSilver
      @KaspaSilver  3 месяца назад

      Kaspa is the most profitable mineable coin. So the tokenomics have been great. You gotta have fees sustain the network and what kaspa will be providing as use cases will bring much fees. In bitcoin case if it doesn’t scale on the base layer it will not support miners in the longer run. The price will not just go up forever.
