So it's not just me? I started playing OW2 a lot lately, having not played OW1 in about 2 years at all. And I've noticed I've been getting a lot of headshots with Kiriko and Hanzo. I thought going to the gym over the last 2 years improved my aim, but I guess I was wrong.

@@jeremyblaauw5197 it definitely will, just the foundations though. More stable, most likely mobility (if they are training right), more endurance and a bunch of other stuff. Your physical does matter still need to put work though
Lmao this is me! I quit overwatch and moved to Valorant. Starting taking the gym seriously (actually became a personal trainer) and have been consistently gold damage in OW2.

Worst thing I got as Hanzo is Genji dash in and then Kiriko tele to him and just get absolutely mobbed, I hate that :'(
Or for the lesser aim folk like me: Reaper feels so good.
Approach your tank teammate in a kind manner at the start of the match. Tell him you'll be sneaky and teleport behind the enemy team, while crouch walking up to them. If you set up a "fighting bond" with said tank. Let him distract the majority of the enemy team, while you pick off the backline. Its disgusting how easy it is with the DPS passive to guerilla in and out of the backline with Reaper and a little distraction. The hardest thing is to get folk in line with the game plan. It will take most opposing teams a couple of lost fights to adjust and then the damage is already done.
Dude reaper is real op now. There was a game that i just walked in with our zarya i killed everyone. Did it over and over and rolled them so hard. Lol. Man i kinda feel bad for them.
Something is wrong in general with the head hitboxes, I just can't tell what it is... I have noticed exactly the same when I play different characters such as Ashe, Cassidy, Hanzo etc. I sometimes get headshots when I am not supposed to, like for example shooting a DVA (mech) from straight above her with Ashe.
Dude I agree so much, it literally feels refreshing to play him in Overwatch 2. I literally thought he was buffed the first time I played.
Hanzo has felt amazing in ow2 I'm so glad I kept playing him all these years, it feels like a reward for dealing with all of the shields for years.
He feels awful to me honestly. Dunno. His arrows just feel slow to me
Holyshit dude the last 2 headshots was godlike. I didn't play alot of ow back in the day I have like 300 total hours max but then yesterday I tried ow2 and for some reason I picked Hanzo and I'm loving it.
I've only played couple of games so far, but it felt very satisfying. I felt like I have more sway in how the match is going and instead of being greeted with massive tank duo and shields, I was free to have a constant battle with enemy backline, so much so that they told me to "f-off" even after a months of a break, this old dog still has it xD I'm excited to play ow now, a feeling I missed and I can't wait to get back to grinding the game! I just hope the feeling of "I now have an impact without totally dismantling the enemy team" stays...
You're not wrong. it's monumentally laggy on top of it. heck playing zenyatta atm feels nutty strong dmg wise.
Probably easier to hit more head shots and better accuracy because off tanks are gone. We finally realize the potential of what off tanking was about. Gone are the days of Winston/Dva diving on high ground hanzo . . .
No more Rein/zarya fortifying space for team
No more orisa shield.
With Hog as an off tank, he was able to flank more with the main tank taking up a lot of attention - cutting off some flank angles and etc. All gone.
Now - 1 main tank up front and you can take all flank angles imaginable and head shot away. 5 v 5 has turned the game into a deathmatch game - no longer team stuff. It's a glory for dps players. Some won't like it.

Almost everything feels awesome in ow2. The only thing I can't figure out is why switching beams with mercy is so wonky, but aiming in general is better for me. Also, no shield. finally.
Symmetra current state is pure sad :(

straight up i think they fixed a combo of no regs being less a thing, but also some models feel acurate to hit in games, lucio in particular i know always was off by a suuuper small margin to actually hit because how his animations is, but im hitting shots that from my perspective normally dont count in OW1. havnt played much of hanzo specificly, but i also play genji and all my shurikens actually feel like no regs dont happen

Hey, this is Pomegranate your son. I felt the opposite. playing in masters and gm lobbies going against sorjurn Genji or Sombra is nearly impossible to play. Especially since the best tanks are dive.

Maybe I'll try him out. I've always been bad at headshots with him but I'm landing a ton of kills lately with Soljourns charge beam around 72% on average.
I think jay3 said hanzos arrows hitboxes seem bigger but idk if copium or not

While one can argue Hanzo got indirectly buffed with the reduced player count, I'm surprised anyone thinks he FEELS better in OW2. He's so slow and gross now. Feels impossible to hit people. And half my shots look like no regs on top of that.
On some days I have 45% accuracy 30% crit shot accuracy on some days 25% and 18% I still enjoy the hell out of the game regardless lol

Point 1: More Headshot rates.
Well of course youd have a higher headshot rates at this very moment, the game isnt out that long in comparision to ow2.
If your headshot rate ist way way higher than it is, dont flex with it. If it stays like 60% in a month or two then you could be happy about it

storm arrows bounce off walls once each, you can also pair sonic air with a storm to make the sonic bounce
I think they changed the character hitboxes, they're extremely outside the bounds of the model. Heads seem harder to click.
Yea with widow I had to aim to the left of people to headshot them

Hanzo seems worse to me personally since OW1 I had 80% hs acc and i played him for over 200+ hours and now it went down by 5% percent in OW2 but with widow my hs got better with now 75% with 150 hours on her

It feels the literal exact same. The ult feels even weaker I’ve seen an orisa just stand in my ult and eat a sandwich with some heals. The dps passive doesn’t feel very impactful either. (I’m a gold hanzo so I’m not some mega pro, but I think it’s misleading)
A gold skill level player isnt going to notice small things brother, not your fault but just saying.
@@Moogle You shouldn't have to be a grandmaster player who plays 24/7 to notice the differences in a "sequel". Blizzard just released the same game with a new number next to it.

If only I could get a team that actually heals so hanzo is actually playable. Especially at lower ranks i feel forced to play solder cus the heals are so bad.

She's budget hanzo with her mouse2 ability but more tanky with survival abilities and 250 hp =D She's feels pretty good with new dps passive (movespeed and reloading after getting kill) Her blast also deals damage equal to 60% zarya charge (100dps)

I think you are hitting more headshots because there is less spamming and more aiming. There are not that many chokepoints to spam through (since 2cp doesent excist) and less shield pushes and more dive. Headshotting dva or winston makes for a lot of headshots. That would be my guess tho. Mabye im totally wrong.

"Support have an easier time healing dps characters with one less tank" . . . . From my experience support I'm matched with can't and don't heal at all. I call for heals retreating from flank and they will have several solid seconds to react and nothing. Standing on point, cart, ect after a fight at 1/4 hp no top ups, peel to help them and step in front to take dmg they dps or run. I have no idea w t f is going on with players right now so I'm basically playing support instead of dps to prevent myself from having a brain aneurysm. It's like none of them spent time healing dps / flank play makers in ow1 and now all hard focus on the original e tank for their heals.

You also need to consider the fact that Arrge plays at a higher elo than most, so the healers actually know what they're doing.

Sounds like you want widow with a bow. In that case, it's a big na from me. Sonic arrow is all utility, and storm arrow allows you to do something with that info.

@@RIP_ZYZZ1738 realistically there will never be a stealth character in overwatch. maybe in ranks below plat where people aren’t aware, if you shoot, your position will be called out, so stealth isn’t a thing, maybe surprise but not stealth

Thing is, Hanzo really needs buff. Like other heros takes so much benefits on new passives and systems... but Hanzo just doesn't.

Didn't Arrge place in plat, while most other GM streamers, placed in master or high diamond. Surprised you didn't place higher if Hanzo is so good at the moment.
Kabaji placed plat too. It's because they system is scuffed at the moment by throwing all ranks into a game together. Kind of luck of the draw in some ways.
I hate hanzos as a support
Arrow hitbox is far too big, so was in OW1
Hanzo-players often hit headshots and are surprised themselves... especially in close combat situations its a desaster.
Next problem is the bowhitbox hiding hanzos head. Its so small he easily can compete with widow bc she needs two shots for hanzo.
Thats the reason why i never felt real respect for arrge or wraxu and their gameplay.
Players like dafran etc. really have outstanding aim and are fun to watch
Btw. search for broken hitbox hanzo in ow2 here on YT....

I get you, for me it is that I need to adjust where I’m aiming to counter the projectile speed to actually hit them. I usually go into Ajera practice and train knowing where to aim to hit for different distances etc.
