What would be really nice is if they justbunlocked the target resolutions for most games. Idc about beating anything over 60 for a console except in siege and maybe cod, but 60@4k is the sweet spot perfect target all games should target on console through upscaling or direct targets. It would be nice to not have to play bf4 in 720p on a ps5 upscale to 4k.

I actually liked BFV, its a good game.
I miss bf4 32v32 Rush, first time that we on console were able to experience it. So many good memories from bf3 but even more from bf4. Bf1 was amazing and visually the best but it was just a little to easy for me.
It's crazy how Battlefield 1 and V look more like a current gen release than 2042.

I noticed terrible texture issues on BFV on PS5 and some characters with very low resolution. Kinda looks like a PS3 game sometimes.

What do you mean it is optimized for the ps5? All that is happening is that the hardware automatically makes the loading faster due to battlefield 1 being on an ssd instead of a hard drive and the same goes for everything else with the ps5 hardware automatically improving the performance as far as I know of the developers haven't done any optimization to the game and have just ported it to the ps5 and the ps5 have done the work itself. If i'm wrong please correct me and explain how they optimized and what they optimized.

Fps & resolution
You seem to misunderstand what is meant by "optimized" In this context. To say a game is optimized for a platform, is to say that the developers, in this case Dice Studios, have updated the game to work better on the PS5. This however, is not the case. The automatic benefits from newer and better hardware, don't count as an optimization.
For further example, if I was on PC and I used a 1050 graphics card, and got 100 FPS, than I went to the stores and bought a 1060 graphics card and got 105 FPS. I wouldn't say that the game is optimized for my system, it's just the automatic and expected outcome of better hardware.
Also you apparently say that what was optimized is "Fps & resolution" I don't see how you could optimized resolution. Also the PS4 Pro could run and output the game at 4k, the PS5 is capable of doing the same, so that's not any improvement. And the FPS isn't optimized, that's just the outcome of better hardware.

If I play GTA 5 on ps5 the fps is still locked at 30. This is not the case with bf1 and there are benefits. Call it whatever you want

10+ above for loading times is somewhat noticable, 20-30 it is my experience on Win 7 and win 10 boot time lol

Started playing again, I tried it last year for free.
Now I have the game, it's pretty fun. I loved battlefield 1 and this game seems pretty fun to me too
But I have problems with it
1. The TTK is pretty slow, especially with smgs
2. Operators kinda ruin the experience
3. Team balancing, not existen
But that's it. Enjoying it a ton

If I'm not mistaken, BFV runs at 60fps on PS4 Pro but not the base PS4 or PS4 Slim. So for those people without a Pro, it would make a difference. And why buy a PS4 Pro now when you can just save a bit more and go next gen. So for a huge BF fan wanting to continue playing but in 60fps and yet you're not on a Pro, go for it!

U think you missed a little detail you have a ps4 pro right? So when i get a ps5 i am able to keep the fps up which i cant today and I will be able to play in 4k. And the loading times will probably be more noticable.
