The burnt orange shorts were flattering. Loving that you’re thrifting. I think as people have said go for a well fitted bra, then try a 1x in tops, you have a large chest and large arms, you have to dress for your body, who cares what the tag says, no one sees it. I wear anywhere for and xl - 2x 18-22w, brands are all so different. Also why not go into a fitting room?
The peach shirt fit so well. So did the blue Sonoma one. The others were either too cropped or just weird. Consider looking at the shoulder hem and where it falls, when it falls past your shoulder it makes your arms look bigger, speaking from experience.
There aren't fitting rooms in goodwill anymore, trust me I wish there were lol. And I do look at larger sizes but there aren't as many choices in those sections. Plus if I go up to a 20 (or larger) to fit my chest/arms, then it'll be too baggy everywhere else and I'll need to get it tailored... I do my best, please trust me 😅
@@thriftthick wow here in Pa we still have fitting rooms. And in understand about fit, as I am larger in the hips than chest.
really??? Lucky!! The other thrifters I've seen here on RUclips also don't have fitting rooms at their Goodwills (and they are in states other than MN, where I'm located)... guess it just depends 😃

I actually prefer how rayon feels and drapes. If you're worried about how it washes, likely if it's at goodwill then it's been washed and dried unless it's new with tags.

Honestly as someone whose body has been allllllllll over the sides of the sizing spectrum, I am more interested in seeing the thrifted clothing and your commentary. I honestly do not care how your body looks or the sizes you get. You don't even have to share the sizes bc it's not like we can go out and buy it ourselves lol that's part of the thrift adventure, finding clothes no one can currently buy in store

I wear those Champion shorts all the time but you should have gone up a size. They looked a bit too tight. No shade but I know I love comfy feel on shorts. The first shorts looked great on you.

Best bet I've found for CDs is used bookstores! Every one in my area has them & they're so well organized.

That safari shirt was a wonderful fit. Accentuated the bust and waist so well. I really thought the length was great. I usually like longer to cover, as I've seen you do as well, but that length worked really, really well. Glad you had a good time!

Instead 😮 of saying “I hate my boobs”, I wish you would wear the proper bra for your shape. You always complain about your shape and breast size but wear the proper under garments. You have a beautiful,shape, embrace it and wear the proper undergarments.

I just like to wear what's comfortable... regardless of what bra I wear it wouldn't have helped anything to fit me any better though 😅 you can see me wearing a 'proper' bra in the try-on portion of this video, it just depends on the day and what I'm in the mood for (underwire or not). When I say I hate my boobs it's usually the size I'm referring to... many items of clothing fit me great everywhere but they're too small for my chest, so that's frustrating. Hope that clears things up! 😊

@@thriftthickactually a lot of people have been telling you things will fit better with a well fitting supportive bra. Idk why you keep saying it won't, the bra in the try on doesn't seem like it's keeping everything in place. You probably wouldn't do it but a lingerie shop would find what fits best.
Also it's kind of sad to see you pass out on cute stuff because of your size. Is there a size where you will think it's time to change your current diet and lifestyle, or have you resigned yourself to keep "evolving"?
Is it just me who, many a time, actually prefers the comfy bra look? Especially with casual clothes, I think it looks way more laid back and cool. There's a place for a fitted bra and there's a place for something more comfy. The imperative to have your boobs always "in the right place" also doesn't sit well with me.

I work at goodwill and at the location where I work, The only thing we check for is if the disc is in the case. it would be far too time consuming to check every single disc to see if it actually plays.

I'm still a CD girl too! I've had good luck getting them at goodwill and other thrift stores. Plus some new releases that I've bought new. I do have a cd case in the car and I just toss the cases.

You’re looking at the wrong size Cassie. you’re not a 16 or XL anymore and that is why things are ill-fitting, especially in the upper arms. it’s not an insult, I have the same issue with my upper arms. Just don’t get sucked into trying to fit into a smaller size - it doesn’t do anything except waste money because we never feel comfortable in those clothes and so we never wear them. PS the red shorts did look great on you!!!
Not always-my arms are big for my size so depending on the fit I may have to go up in a size to fit my arms but then it’s too boxy on my body
@@jennaweiler5936 so you recommend wearing stuff that is too tight in the arms so that it can fit you well in other places? I hate doing that, it’s so uncomfortable! I doubt she would want to spend the money on thrift clothes, but really you should buy the size that is big enough for you in every area and have a seamstress take it in on areas that are too big.
@@lisawerner6993 no, but sometimes you have to try on things in multiple sizes to know what will fit. Let’s face it, there are not universal measurements when it comes to clothing. a size 16 and one brand might fit in one brand but not another. She might have to go up a size or two or down a size or two it’s not that unusual.

Loved the three pairs of shorts. I also have a zip up hoodie like Dan's in white from Liz Calborne (?) that belonged to my mom. I have a lot of clothes from me and her that I need to donate. Just trying to find the right place because Goodwill isn't it. I so wish those overalls fit. 20 + yrs ago I had a pair from Levi's that fit me perfectly. To this day I can't find another pair 😪 That store was huge. Couldn't believe how many isles it had just for shoes, lol. Really enjoyed this one Cassie. Can't wait for the next one... 👍

Hi Cassie , love the maroon shirt on you . That being said , I used to go to G.W. ( alot), to thrift . but found , for an organization , who is supposed to cater to the " have nots"💰💴💵💷 wise, they find it ok to charge ( alot ), of the clothes in Mass. way too high. I have given donations to them but , stopped after running into this problem ( for me ). I also , wash everything ( from there), before I wear it , just my thing , because I knew a person who worked there & she filled me in on washing before wear ! Great choices regardless enjoy ... 👌❇🖤❇💚❇💚😍
