But it being a very rare occurance, and there being such a large pool of examples to choose from that no two are exactly the same. Then you can have conversations with friends like "dude, on the forest mission, one guard threatened to find out where i lived" and no one will believe you
I remember when EverQuest first came out. The guards and NPCs were a bit above the average level of the players in whatever area. This was fine for a day or two. Then players realized they could go back to lower level areas and slaughter all the NPCs and deny access for the new players. So the guards got bumped up a little, but this didn't completely solve the problem, so they bumped them up again. Fast forward a few years... and players would drag world bosses into newbie zones so that the guards would help kill the dragon or whatever. The eventual fix for _that_ problem was creating an exclusion zone for the world bosses.. in other words, as long as the world bosses were inside "their" area, everything was fine. If you pulled a world-boss out, it would warp back to the start and fully reset to full health. What happened next? One guild would get the 'tag' on the world boss before a rival guild could arrive. The rival guild would put all their effort into getting the aggro, then would drag it to the exclusion zone.. The boss would teleport back to its area, reset, and the rival guild would "tag" it and take over.
