SONY Vision - S wont make to Production.
@@markplott4820 I think it would make into production in one or other form/brand. Sony is a hardware manufacturer, from Webcam sensors to batteries, screens, music devices.........
Originally, Sony said that the Vision S will not come to production. But now, Sony may put the car into production. Expect the production version of the Vision S to get a different name

I doubt. Many auto experts think it will be very hard for a tv, playstation and former walkman manufacturer to make a decent car. This is a totally different ball game, where Sony has 0% experience. Lookswise, this Sony car wants to mimic a Taycan at the front, at the rear it looks as soulless as a Tesla or Lucid. Totally not impressed.

@@スカイハイ-q9e 一度、かなり傾いてリストラ半端無かったようですが、技術は人を助ける訳で逆にそう言う人たちには新しい道を結果的に作ったのかも知れませんね。AIBOも復活したし、今はそう言う人たちが繋がりやすくなった時代だからこそ、SONYは次世代に拍車をかけているとも言えるでしょうね。世界遺産のスポンサーから降りたとき本当に心配したんですが今は以前の何倍も勢い有りますよね(^q^)

MAGNA is using OUTDATED Horse & Buggy technology.
MAGNA skateboard is GARBAGE , as evidenced by how poor the PERFORMANCE , EFFICIENCY and RANGE the JAG i-Pace is.
ANYONE partnering MAGNA to build an BEV will result in a UNDERPOWERED car with OUTDATED spec and Performance.
SONY will find this out.
MAGNA can make a good SHOW car , but its OUTPUT is pitiful.
FREMONT alone can OUTPRODUCE Magna.
and in 2021 GigaShanghai is RAMPING and by First 1/2 of 2021 , GigaBerlin and GigaTexas will be COMPLETE .
and they BOTH will be making its Initial Production.
TESLA is on track to make 1.4 MILLION cars in 2021 , and 3 - 4 MILLION in 2022.
MAGNA does not have the Battery Supply .
TESLA will have 4 Factory capable of LOCAL Battery Production.
and GigaTexas will be the LARGEST car factory in the WORLD , even Bigger than WOLFSBURG in Germany.
TESLA will also have 3 NEW Cars built at Fremont, China and Berlin.
and will sell for $25k.
CHINA will Produce the Model 2 by 2022 !!!!
This is first car I fell in love with the interior, would make a perfect daily driver incorporating Bravia, Walkman, and Alpha technology. This and a McLaren supercar would be the dream.

This is a car, so it won't have a PlayStation. Instead, it could come with an OLED instrument cluster, OLED rear seat tablets and OLED infotainment system (with connected car features)

@@shamerzaihan8638 - TESLA made the First TESLA in 2009 from Gliders from LOTUS, however it was Probable Better off JUST making the car from SCRATCH, as TESLA had to Almost rebuild the ENTIRE car.
Still it was the SAFEST Enginered electric car Avaliable and the BEST Performance.
Lessons learned, TESLA began making its own cars from Scratch begining with the model S in 2012, and was the BEST Built CAR in the WORLD and with the BEST PERFORMANCE.
and while the EARLY model 3 was a mess with over 7000 parts weilded togeather , TESLA model 3 was still the SAFEST car on EARTH. and begining with the 2020 model year TESLA reduced the parts needed.
In 2020 TESLA built the model Y with only 2 Piece MEGACASTING the First one, and has gone to a Single Piece REAR casting and will be doing Single Piece FRONT END and REAR end Megacasing and STRUCTURAL Battery in GigaBerlin , a FIRST .
TESLA will also be doing MEGACASTING at GigaTexas and LATER at GigaShanghai and FREMONT.
this and other Process will REDUCE the price of ALL of its Vehicles WORLDWIDE, increase SAFETY , EFFICIENCY and PERFORMANCE.
GigaShanghai will be building TESLA First compact car for $23,000 in 2022 for Worldwide sales.
TESLA Factually has OVER a DECADE Experience in Producing SAFE High Performance Vehicles.

Well...if you watch the longer (9 minute) video they released interviewing many of the people that worked on it they sure talk about it as if they are testing and developing a consumer product
any ev related company stock gets skyrocked these days because its supposed to be the next big thing. even when this car wont find mass production, the will be a major player in whats to come with sensors and what not...

Exteriors and interiors are classy, kudos to the designers! If the tech holds up to the promise, especially about range, this could be an immense success IF AND ONLY IF Sony doesn't try to force the market on proprietary standards like they've attempted to in the last 40 years. Dear Sony, you make great products, please don't try to become tyrannical because of this.

Based on current news stories SONY is seriously considering it. They are looking at issues over safety (it is a car after all), and how it could be mass produced as making cars is not exactly SONY's wheel house.

I am actually really impressed by ... how the roads are so well cleaned from the snow. In my country it takes weeks for the authorities to make them even usable.
