Thanks Emily! Hopefully this tutorial helps, just replace the circles in the video with a spiral shape, as it uses the same technique of adding text to a path 🙂

From the bottom of the toolbar (left side of screen) click the 3 dots icon, then from the top-right corner click the dropdown icon and select the "Advanced" toolset 👍

@@ForeverDansky I tried it and AI handles it correctly on the spiral, and when applying the script it goes back to a single character from left to right. The script needs to evaluate that before applying the reduction fonts size

It keeps saying "please select only one text frame", whenever i open the script. (which i am doing). Thank you for this resource by the way though!
Edit: SOLVED! I should've selected the text box, not the text itself 🤦
