In Michigan, I always have the title, even with a lien on it. They took the car on a Thursday or Friday and the loan was paid off by Tuesday. I’d assume you’d have to get paperwork from the bank for the title
They’ve been giving me a hard time saying that I need to update my registration to show the lienholder on it. I never even heard of that before. I even called up my DMV and they said there’s no such thing. I’m wondering if they mean they want the title with the lien holder on it

How long did it take to complete all of these? I want to sell my car by the end of October, when should I start contacting carvana? My car is financed from toyota… I am sorry if this is such a stupid question
Besides my Carvana quote, I did everything else in one day. It mainly depends on how soon Toyota can give you the payoff information. Carvana’s price is only good for 7 days. I sat on mines for 6 days and did it all in the last 1-2 days. After this is all completed, then you can schedule them to pick up the car, which is a separate timer if I remember correctly. @@emeliafeliz91 you’re welcome. Unfortunately they didn’t have me take any pictures of my car except the odometer. If I were you I would just take all the pics on both. The rep they sent to me took all the pics

Thinking about selling my car soon, what kind of test drive does Carvana do to test the car out? How much time do they look at the car and how much attention to detail do they look for. I was thinking about detailing the car so they don't try to lower the value of the quote. Thanks and Awesome Video!
The did no test drive. At least while the car was in my possession. The price the quoted me online is exact;y what they paid me. They looked at the car for maybe 5 minutes. Just looking for scratches and damage. My rep did know how to start a manual trans so she didn't drive it at all.I wouldn't bother detailing unless you have noticeable scratches. My car was dirty the day they came. Great questions and good luck

I sold my car to Carmax. I tried to sell it on my own with no luck. They gave me $600 more than I was asking and I was in and out in 45 minutes

Not exactly immediately but you have like 2 days if I remember. I had to send them a picture of a cashiers check

Yeah that’s a weird request. It’s generally the title like you said that shows the lien holder. I’ve never seen that on the registration

Thanks a lot!. They actually sent me a text and I replied to that text with a copy of the cashier's check. Good question.
You can also pay the negative equity straight to your lender as well. Apply it to the principal, simple.

You have to get a 10 day payoff from the lender
