My gosh I love these deconstructed songs. For instance, in the chorus, we hear that the first two lines are perhaps all three of them singing, but the answers are clearly all Brian's voice. Listening to these, and some of the Utopia vids really make me want to buy a 32 track portastudio and go to the painstaking process of recording some of my compositions.
I knew about the bass, but had forgotten. '39 was written after May had a dream, same as The Prophet's Song. So two of his four songs on A Night At The Opera followed having dreams.
I love this song! Definitely one of my favorites from A Night At The Opera. Also, I love that single Roger scream at the beginning that bleeds into the other instruments' parts 😂 will you be doing more songs from this album (or from Queen in general)? I'd love to hear Sweet Lady's drums, ever since I've read that apparently Roger said it was the toughest song for him to play.
@@BubbaDoesIsolations Back then, Roger had big blue eyes and lighter hair, before going blond. He's on the far right in the picture. These days, John has lost his hair and is rarely seen, while Roger has white hair and a beard.

One of Queen's best songs. Highly under-rated. I had no idea that it used an upright bass.

That whole album will be done eventually! Don't know when but it will be!
Could you do a video of just Brian's lead vocal on this? :)

What's the best way to tell Roger Taylor and John Deacon apart? It's hard for me to tell the difference.
FFS.
1. Open your eyes
2. Put on some glasses
Your Welcome!
Look wise or musically? Look-wise, Deacy has brown hair always, Roger has blonde hair. Musically, Roger sings, Deacy doesn't.
You *are* joking? Taylor is the drummer with occasional backing vocals. Deaky plays bass with occasional triangle (Killer Queen).
I meant if you’re looking at them. But I’ve figured it out.
