Great stuff - The Royal Marine Bands never fail to impress and the last section, just before the dismiss was superb. They all deserve a day off - possibly two...
I know nowdays everyone loves to video on their smartphones for memories and I can understand it but, I also like to see every now and then someone just staring taking it all in and simply enjoying the spectacle (like the old days).
No finer sight than the massed bands of the Royal Marines marching down the Mall on a warm summers night.
I agree, but this march may have taken place after the Retreat Ceremony - it is in itself not Beating Retreat.

The Drummers are the only ones allowed to become Commandos IF they pass the eight months Commando training course ,they are usually nicknamed Sticks
