They always had quality matches when they played each other. They both had good shots but also great movers. Henins backhand was a thing of beauty. Thanks for uploading!
I believe this was Capriati's first tournament in 2003 after injury... so not a bad showing. These two always had great matches (except the straight-set exception that went to Justine)...

She actually lost in the first round of AO. And she was coming back from offseason eye surgery where she had sun spots removed from both eyes.
Henin

Great Match❤
Reminds me of the U.S. Open semifinal.
Yes that’s super classic
Do you have the Seles Dubai Semi-Final???
Dubai courts played a lot slower back then.
Henin's forehand lacked a bit of penetration there -- was it a slow court..?
Henin's FH wasn't yet the weapon it would become. It was a work in progress at this point early in 2003.
Shake hands not caught by the camera.. 😉
Capriati always too passive, let Henin dictate even when she had the mid court ball wouldn’t do anything with it, same story of the Us SF
I agree with this match, but at the USO Jen was very aggressive.
@@stayfocused3175 in the first set when down 14, as soon as she got ahead in the match 53 the second 52 the third she froze
Kind of weird how much of a battle Capriati gave Serena and Henin considering how both were much superior tennis players than her.
Well, too bad for Capriati.
