Thanks Dr Pitre, The key word for the 11th convert is ...contrite.... something that can't be faked when one is facing judgment. I have witness many a time foolish people remarking " I will change later or I'll convert after I'm done with the pleasures of life" this dicing with ones soul. Bear in mind the outcome is a permanent one.

Thank you Dr Pitre, this reminds me of Gestas the Good Thief on the cross. He stole a place in paradise moments before his death, I sing a hallelujah for him. I have followed Christ for years and Im going to keep focussed on the sacraments, weekly Mass, confession etc and God willing at the end of my life I too will be deemed worthy.

I believe in heaven, we will all be in perfect place for us, no one will be lower or higher in standard than they deserve or want. Like in this life, I don't want to be president, that's just too much responsibility, but some people are made to be presidents and it's a perfect job for them. How can the atheist shun this arrangement? To deny the living Christ all of their lives, and to repent and be saved at their final death throes. Believe now non-believers please, and save all of your pain.
What does St. Augustin mean when he says, "some will shine more brilliantly than others"? It seems that although we will all have eternal life, some will be differentiated from others?

Salvation. A woman is pregnant or not. One is saved or not. I wonder? I don't think all Catholics will be or are aim to be saved. There are objectives to the goal. It is contrite faith, belief, repentance, & works that can determine the goal of paradise. If one follows the Catholic Pathway the goal is more probable. All others follow their own pathway and hope for the best. I have felt the contrite hearts of Catholics & non Catholics. It's what lies beneath? Theologians and scholars tend to be complicated.
So what you’re saying to the lukewarm Catholics who are watching this... that sure, go on not going to church, sure, need not believe in the Real Presence, sure sin all you like but remember on your death bed to repent. Start talking about confession instead.
I think you missed the point of the video. People who "repent" on their last hour of life, just to avoid the punishment, do not have a contrite heart and will not get into heaven, because they do it only for their interest, not because of truly loving God. Don't you think that God will "see through" their plans? You cannot fool God. Anyone who thinks like that: okay, I can sin now, I can do what I want for now, I can repent when my time of death comes, well good luck with that because I would not want to try and trick God.
