When I was 15 y old I used to be a huge Rammstein fan and I used to translate all their lyrics to know what they're singing about,to understand better the songs and to mark my fav ones.It was not that easy back then! Now I'm 22 and I might wish to know basic Norwegian due to my fondness of some BM bands :D.Big deal...
Norsketalende italiener her.
Wow, that's interesting. I'm in the same boat. I've concentrated too much on speaking and writing well English that I can barely understand my native language anymore.
I was a bit puzzled when they walked right past me on the street in Bergen. I was like... hmm they look familiar. But when I realized who they were I was just stunned. It was seriously the last thing i expected to see right then and there.
Haha very interesting video. Many people here in the US are attracted to Scandinavian culture now due to the metal/folk bands from there, as well as a sort of "Pan-Germanic Heritage Revival," if you will. It seems that many White American metalheads are reconnecting with their European ancestry, due to disgust with American politics and admiration for history, etc. Either way, its very hard to find a Scandinavian language course at a school; the only Germanic courses usually being German.
he's talking Norwegian of course! Well if I were to upload "typisk norsk" or anything else in Norwegian I would consider putting subs for others ( of course I understand since I'm Norwegian
Yeah, Bathory made black metal , but it is the Norwegian scene that really took over and made it popular. Don't get me wrong, Bathory is my fav BM band
Hahaha, "jeg liker å spise på resturant" (I like to eat at restaurants). Made me smile ^^ Unlike WiiKung I used to be a real metal head, but like him I find it funny that people get an interest for our languages as well^^
LOL?
Wow when screamed beyond redemption, those random phrases get their poetic meanings across so much better.

Nice respect for Learning a New Language .
I love this. They knew Mellom Bakkar og Berg because Storm (Satyr/Fenriz) covered it :D
They are very considerate black metallers as they have put egg boxes on the walls of there practice place so they dont annoy the neighbours
Wow, that's interesting. I'm in the same boat. I've concentrated too much on speaking and writing well English that I can barely understand my native language anymore.
all these people are so awesome! I'd totally hang out with Eligor and drikke øl og høre på svart metall!! helt fantastisk!!!

LOL!!! Detta er jo brilliant! :)
I was a bit puzzled when they walked right past me on the street in Bergen. I was like... hmm they look familiar. But when I realized who they were I was just stunned. It was seriously the last thing i expected to see right then and there.
That guy has got a good growl.
I think their norwegian is pretty good :)
awesome that some are that dedicated!
Not my type of music, but it's fun that people outside of Scandinavia take interest in our languages ^^
A shame no one is learning Swedish because of death metal and we also got a black metal scene
Many songs in Swedish
I am not sure if i am proud that Norway is the export of Black Metal. LoL. But this video is really good. De snakker godt norsk!

C'mon someone should put the subtitles in spanish or english minimum so we can understand what they say!!!!
I have no problems... >:->

anyone know what band was at 0:35?
Bathory was the first black metal band and they were swedish, they should have that in mind before opening their mouth

Roll your r's?
Faen ass, man lærer noe nytt hver dag. :D
@imastoner satyricon
how the norweigans see the black metal?
Hell yeah, bra folk digger musikken her i Norge!
