Calahonda to Cabopino Marina coastal walk and beach, Costa del Sol, 4K, November 2022

Calahonda is located 40km from Málaga International Airport and is situated between Fuengirola and Marbella in the municipality of Mijas. Over the last 40 years Calahonda has grown to a small village in size and is a real favourite with families, couples, retirees, golfers and groups of younger holidaymakers. Calahonda has become one of the most popular holiday destinations on the Costa del Sol. The attraction lies in the areas mix of holiday villas, townhouses and apartments, numerous golf courses and many other leisure facilities, including the beach and nearby marina at Cabopino and the village of La Cala just a 5 minute drive away to the East. One of Calahonda’s attractions is its access to green and rustic spaces, including golf courses, campsites, pine forests and access to the beach and boardwalk.
Cabopino is a quiet Marina situated between Marbella and Benalmadena. This is a much smaller port than Benalmadena with its own truly Mediterranean style. It is often overlooked by the tourists mainly because it is not visible from the road, but like all the costal Marinas it has some very good restaurants and bars, as well as a lovely beach and golf courses.

Wow a trip down memory lane, i remember visiting here over twenty five hears ago and Albert's is still there. Many a golf course played as well.😅
