To be completely honest tho mrekk actually takes like a month to get his peak skill back and when he does he just becomes able to set crazy scores, that was basically how he kept Akolibed at bay the first time, bro needs to start waking up rn tho

I really don't think Accolibed will take over mrekk in the near future, maybe if he farms like crazy and mrekk takes a break it might happen, but mrekk would just snipe him back shortly after to be honest.
I think Ivaxa will be the one to take over mrekk. He has been playing for a short time, and is already absurly good at 350bpm+, pretty much no one can replicate his scores on The Deceit and The Violation and he is still improving. Would be really interesting if he kept pushing boundaries like this (but prioritizing his health ofc, so he doesn't end up like sito)

If hes about to cook up a pop off week like he did in 2023 from this peak form he says hes in now, mrekk will be overtaken very soon.
If akolibed's mental deteriorates before he can make use of his peak form, he won't reach #1. Well the chance of his mental bouncing back and going sidetracked day mode will never be off the table even if he fails this time. I think the only thing that could guarantee mrekks spot for way longer is if combo scaling removal is released. Though it's still at least a year, likely more, until lazer has progressed enough to drop combo scaling imo.

Combo scaling rework brings the gap back to almost 1k. The thing that sets mrekk apart is how well rounded he is and how many maps hes able to farm. Akolibed is a lot more limited and pretty much only farms new super farmy flow aim speed maps. Even though theyre worth more than mrekk's scores mrekk is able to still set similar worth scores and then set many many more scores thay akolibed cant farm at the same rate

Ill say ut bluntly, no. Accolibed also has very bad mental, aswell as being generally not able to set enough scores to match mrekks top 100 scores.
