    Thank you for this. It is one of the great stories of survival from any age! Harry McNeish, who was the ship's carpenter and prepared the James Caird for the trip to South Georgia, and then sailed on it, is buried in Wellington, NZ. A statue to his cat, Mrs Chippy, was added to his grave. Visitors to the cemetery are very fond of leaving Mrs Chippy presents.

    I remember in junior high school reading about the Ernest Shackleton expedition and being super interested in it. Thanks for helping me remember a lot of those things I read about. Such an amazing story! Great job on this video.
