Didnt put a foot wrong, never looked the weak link and stood up to the pressure of tournament football and us England fans. Those penalty takers were COLD. Different England if it goes all the way. Character, spirit and determination. Havent been great but still out the groups without losing, now into the semis and have some serious momentum and reason to look forward. I genuinely struggle to see what Palmer's good at. With the ball he always makes the wrong decision almost EVERY time. It actually hurts watching him. I've always said there was a reason he doesn't play for City. Looks good at Chelsea without double markers, deep blocks and pressure but when he goes to England he's nowhere near. He's talented but I can see he isn't nearly as technical gifted as Foden or Saka the players he's compared with. 13% dribble success rate, Saka and Foden 60%.

Been supporting United since like 1994, but i don't like England. I dispise England on the way they have always treated United players. Unless it is have to be said again why? League football is always been there, international competion is just there during breaks. So if i like Real Madrid do i need to support Spain? I grew up watching the great Brazil team, and i fall in love with their game but I dont watch Brazilian League. Its probably called preference, like how we like and dislike certain player in the same team and liking the Club and hating the manager.
By the way, England did play well this game and good for them to be in the Semi's. Still don't want them to win it, lol!!!

England may well win a trophy playing the absolute worst football. Does that say more about England or the competition. England's luck is bound to run out. Southgate is a real problem. This steam should steam roll the competition or atleast be winning comfortably.
I genuinely struggle to see what Palmer's good at. With the ball he always makes the wrong decision almost EVERY time. It actually hurts watching him. I've always said there was a reason he doesn't play for City. Looks good at Chelsea without double markers, deep blocks and pressure but when he goes to England he's nowhere near. He's talented but I can see he isn't nearly as technical gifted as Foden or Saka the players he's compared with. 13% dribble success rate, Saka and Foden 60%.

Saka’s final ball was diabolical time after time. He got in great positions but failed every time to find an England player.
As Shearer said, Saka's job is to get the ball in the box, the strikers job is to make sure he's in the right place, how are you picking out players in the box if there are none?
