One of the biggest first steps to stopping the nice guy syndrome is shifting the blame. Stop blaming others for not getting your needs met and stop being resentful towards others. Realize that it is your fault for not getting your needs met. I recommend meditation to any nice guy. Start looking within to see what’s going on in your mind. I’m recovering myself.
