I'm amazed that Dave always manages to find those trails where the GoPro effect isn't making me think "I could do that." These trails look terrifying on camera already, can't imagine what they are like in person.
Whenever I watch your videos all I can think of is which way to the ER. You and your friends riding is incredible. I never say I could do that. I could not. Much respect. Take care be safe.
Strong progression Dave! Your braking control on the 2022 Penthouse drop was notably superior to the 2017 version… as was the drop itself. Tbh, I feared for you in the runout on the 2017 version!
Watched again on my big screen (it shows the steeps waayyy better). Leads to another comment: Dale’s unabashed giddiness “it… it’s pretty cool look’n” at 5:47 (also in the intro) is just so awesome to see. How great to ride with someone with an infectious attitude like that!
I'm not sure why the algorithm has sent your videos to me, but I feel like I have just discovered the parkour of the bike world. You're all crazy, and these videos are SO much fun. Thank you for doing the things I could never do so I could live vicariously through you. Have fun and please be safe!
The combo of you absolutely flying down that penthouse run out and the much worse stabilization in 2017 cameras makes that original run look soooooo rowdy ha ha. Great vid as always buddy :)
Always a good watch to see D&D do a progression shoot. Learning a great deal from both of you (and Nic). So, thanks for the next tech shred session. Great skill display as always.
This wasn't an activity when I was young and would have been able to live through it. I am glad so many people are able to do something this fun and challenging.
Holy crap guys, try watching one of these videos with headphones if you haven't. It really adds a lot to the immersion. Great trails as always. I'd be effing terrified of all that rock to slide on!
I rode it last year, but don't expect too much. My jumping skills are severely lacking compared to my tech skills! ruclips.net/video/C3pdF_xxuRI/видео.html&ab_channel=DangerousDave
I'm using the TLD Stage at the moment, and have used the Fox Proframe before. Stage has a few more features that i prefer, but both are good (and more importantly, they fit me).
Me : i just rode a single black trail , it was the hardest thing i have ever ridden Dave: almost every day riding steep and hard trails af that i would give a much higher rating than double blacks but it doesnt exist
Can someone recommend a good place/website to shop for a bike like this? Can you ballpark a price? I've had a bike rack for 4 years but I've never put a bike on it :S I would like to do what I see in the video here but I don't want to get jacked by a bike shop - I don't know what's good, what's bad, etc.
What type of bike do you have? I have a Xc bike and I can’t imagine taking it on this. I don’t mind downhills and minor tech stuff but can’t imagine the drops. Plus I’m 6’3” and have a 29” bike with an extra large frame. I feel like I’d want a smaller bike for this
more than anything, these trails demand a modern slack head tub angle le the norco sight in this vid. while 29 inch wheels are a little less agile than 27.5, lots of rider use them
This one is actually scary.. lol. I know you know what your doing and most of the time when I binge watch your vids I get a super Kool sense of peace... Not this one! 🤣🤣🤣
I'm amazed that Dave always manages to find those trails where the GoPro effect isn't making me think "I could do that." These trails look terrifying on camera already, can't imagine what they are like in person.
I was thinking the same things. NFW way out of my skill sets.
Even if I had the skills, my bike would be all like "you might as well use a hardtail cause you're gonna bottom me out on this shit."
@@CODE-BROWN Dave on a hardtail. Now THAT is something I want to see!
So true
@@bobk3432 Might as well go extra crazy then and get him on a Stooge Cycles MK4, would just need to be a "mellow" trail.
Whenever I watch your videos all I can think of is which way to the ER. You and your friends riding is incredible. I never say I could do that. I could not. Much respect. Take care be safe.
agreed they have been doing this since birth I feel like watching Dale and Dave is far more skilled than any pro rider ive ever seen imho
Strong progression Dave! Your braking control on the 2022 Penthouse drop was notably superior to the 2017 version… as was the drop itself. Tbh, I feared for you in the runout on the 2017 version!
Camera tech has really improved, too!
Flashback Dave was exceptionally dangerous, holy jamoly.
ddoublyddangerousddave
flashback dave was quite rowdy, i thought he was gonna slam himself on the bottom left tree!
Flashback Dave about to full send himself straight off the trail
I'm not sure why the algorithm has sent your videos to me, but I feel like I have just discovered the parkour of the bike world. You're all crazy, and these videos are SO much fun. Thank you for doing the things I could never do so I could live vicariously through you. Have fun and please be safe!
Dave:
Pristine slab line= “scary”
Janky steep pile of rocks= “fun!”
You kinda missed that at the end of the janky steep pile of rocks is a pretty soft dirt runoff, while at the end of the pristine slab is a cliff..
The combo of you absolutely flying down that penthouse run out and the much worse stabilization in 2017 cameras makes that original run look soooooo rowdy ha ha. Great vid as always buddy :)
Thanks Thad! That clip definitely made my 2022 run anticlimactic lol.
When im in a waiting room or get someplace too early, your videos help me pass the time!
Always a good watch to see D&D do a progression shoot. Learning a great deal from both of you (and Nic). So, thanks for the next tech shred session. Great skill display as always.
Damn. That drop! Never in a million years for me. Well done boys!
Marvelous technical riding....too right those trails are terrifying....but terrific too!
This wasn't an activity when I was young and would have been able to live through it. I am glad so many people are able to do something this fun and challenging.
Super gnarly trail dave!you guys are really fun to watch riding those kind og trails.i really had fun warching it!🤘🏼
Holy crap 2:52 must be a straight cliff if it actually looks that steep on camera. Sick trails, what a beautiful area.
So cool to have those old videos to see the progression. 👍
And of course, the filming is better than my eyesight once again!
cool bike love the yellow
"Fun in a terrifying kind of way " yep.
you are awesome, thanks for uploading your bike videos. very enjoyable to watch. the camera position on the helmet is perfect!
Oh wow. I don't do any mountain biking at all but even I could see how much better your control was with the drop compared to the 2017 video. Wow!
2017 version is scary even to watch...
Another great video! Would love to see one on how you're able to hit drops with literally no run up! :)
This place is Rowdy!! Great video as usual!
I like how you took that big drop slower this time. Shows maturity in your riding style.
Heart was pumping just watching
When can we expect a Remy x Dave/Dale/Nic Squamish trails collab vid? 🤔 Looking forward to it!
A full send one take video of this run would be wicked.
Wow, I'd love to hike these trails!
Hey Dave brilliant video! You are such a good rider and keep up the good work 👍🤟
Holy crap guys, try watching one of these videos with headphones if you haven't. It really adds a lot to the immersion.
Great trails as always. I'd be effing terrified of all that rock to slide on!
This looks amazing, I would looooove this
😮 so relaxing , unbelievable
With each new video I watch, I find myself wanting to ride in Canada's PNW 🤣
Wild rides your sending man! Where are you guys riding these wicked trails?
The last two videos have been filmed in Squamish, BC. So much great riding there.
Well done!
What brand/model is the front mudguard?
Mudhugger Evo 👍
@@ddangerousddave Thank you!
Dude…. MASSIVE SKILLS!! So apparently there are quad black trails out there that I will never ride!! 👌🏼👍🏼💪🏼
The most fun you can have trying not to die!
His breaks are soothing like a babbling brook
Will you ride whistlers A line in the near future? It would be hype to see you on that trail
He has already done it... not really his style of trail but if you search for DD at whistler you will find it.
I rode it last year, but don't expect too much. My jumping skills are severely lacking compared to my tech skills! ruclips.net/video/C3pdF_xxuRI/видео.html&ab_channel=DangerousDave
Straight sketch
Love it
Hello dave whats the full face helmet of your choice for enduro riding?
I'm using the TLD Stage at the moment, and have used the Fox Proframe before. Stage has a few more features that i prefer, but both are good (and more importantly, they fit me).
Staying on your bike through some of this must have been like riding a bucking bull lol
Mountain biking: fun in a terrifying kinda way
He has the best vid quality
When it looks steep on the GoPro!
Great vid! Wanna get into MTB! Would you mind making a beginners guide? Thanks
Good god he has the skills!
Me : i just rode a single black trail , it was the hardest thing i have ever ridden
Dave: almost every day riding steep and hard trails af that i would give a much higher rating than double blacks but it doesnt exist
Smooth voiced mad men.

"High degree of jank." Going to work this into my corporate lingo
what scares me the most is that Dale is not wearing knee pads
when are we getting a gopro settings video?!?!?!?!

Anyone knows the weight of his bike ?
Around 33 lbs
@@ddangerousddave Thanks :) Big fan of yours, keep those vids comming !
This one is actually scary.. lol. I know you know what your doing and most of the time when I binge watch your vids I get a super Kool sense of peace... Not this one! 🤣🤣🤣
It really makes you feel not very good at mountain biking when you see people doing trails like this
This is my first season riding mountain bikes and well… goddamn dude
I would be using a parachute not a mountain bike to get down that trail.
Go pro effect was in action in this video
you got to get a range...
Canada would benefit with more/better dirt that was pushed south roughly 11K yo.
☮️
Your bike skills always amaze me, you make horrible features lookin so easy to ride...
🤩🤘🔥
Ok now do it clipped in.
How many broken bones have you had (if any) and have you ever hit a tree?! 😵
Doesn't look a thing like a bike trail.
My toxic trait is thinking i could do this
thinkin about first aid requirements if needed being so far out 🐱🏍🐱🏍🐱🏍🐱🏍🐱🏍🐱🏍🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕🤕
practice biketrial guys, this helps to have incredible bike handling
