I watched your other video' on etiquette and changed up how I moved or placed my hands. I didn't realize how much people perceived hand gestures or posture. This has heaped a lot. As always good videos Antonio!!!
I started using hand gestures in public speaking and although it was tough at the beginning and sort of awkward, I soon got the hang of it and it seems people started enjoying my speeches more. So thanks a bunch :)
Outstanding, Antonio! I am learning ASL, and I find that I am often signing what I say. Learning sign and communicating with HOH or deaf individuals can be very useful to build confidence when speaking to a group.
I was sent here because it was an assignment for an anthropology linguistic class at my college. I'm a (shy) woman, but definitely learned some valuable public speaking skills, so thank you!
one thing i really like about your vids is you do advert differently. you dont force it. you dont say" oh you can only do these things if you buy these things", you say that okay gents you can do this and this, you shoudnt do this and this, and (in this case) look you can look better with these cool watches.you should buy it and support. honest and clever way to do it. you give what you promise in the video and on top of that you suggest to elevate thigns further buy the things you advert. thanks for the help. learning a lot of things from you.
My pleasure. I hope the discount code I'm offering makes it easier. If you end up buying one, email me and let me know which one you chose! I'm always interested to hear which ones people like. And thanks for watching! antonio@realmenrealstyle.com
Thanks Antonio for covering the Haters issue as well. Because I am naturally blessed with hand gestures but always dealt with haters. But good people like you always makes feel good. Thanks big bro....God bless you!
You give awesome presentations I enjoy listening to you When you speak you enunciate every word You look like a professional your appearance is great Your information is presented with precision and clarity The sales pitch that you give is both interesting and it is without being pushy or overbearing The information that you provide is usually so interesting that I write it down Thank you
I been working over a year to get a project moving though research phase and got a shot in the arm yesterday receiving a request to be in a Professor's stead. Now I am watching these videos so can do a better job of getting this new persons help and represent my Professor well. Antonio has me energized. As for hands, have bad shoulder joints so resting in a pocket helps. So how about what I do when not walking, having a fist with the thumb hooked on the pocket or waistband, one or both hands?
I'll be watching and rewatching this video multiple times. Very very good stuff. Btw, the gray suit and whatever pitch or shade of light blue that is on the shirt is spot on perfect!! Love that color combo on you, Antonio. .
I wish more people would watch these and get tips on how to be a gentleman because so many men are disrespectful and I won't even talk about gender changes.
Antonio, great tips a few I already knew about as I frequently speak in public. However, there were several tips I wasn't aware of so very helpful. My greatest goof is the hands in the pocket, by the way, don't have your keys in there as you end up fidgeting with them and it just looks... wrong!
I really like the "pinch" gesture with all five fingers. Palm facing upwards has you talking like a stereotypical Italian (nothing wrong with that), but I prefer making linear and circular gestures with the palm downwards, like moving a chesspiece.
I'm big on walking around with my thumbs in my pockets, it just works for some people. 😂 Loved the video! It's interesting that Italians would do a study on talking with their hands. Now I will feel more comfortable gesturing about everything. Thank you!
WoW.. Such unique content you come up with Antonio.. Very informative and fun to watch .. Just love the way you present. Don't know why your subscriptions are not growing...
This is much needed, especially as a man in business. Thank you!! Also, has anyone noticed how Antonio hasn't had a smidge of aging in the last few years? Must be that Tiege Hanley and great lighting, lol.
Quality is important in the suit upper pocket of the blazer Your style and advice I adore Tailored suit are wonderful, yet a slight zoot suit always works Just my opinion
Couldn't say. Alpha is a dear friend of mine but we have quite different business models. In any event, I'm glad you're here. Thanks for watching, my man!
I think just depends on the way they present each ad and how long they present for. Alpha and TMF can sometimes take up too much of the vid for an ad. Antonio's a little more brief.
Treisiess that’s true, you have to admit that Alpha can definitely do a smooth segue into an ad. I really love Antonio and Aaron both. They have completely different styles yet achieve the same results. I take advice from both of them depending on my environment.
Two related questions I was hoping you would answer. What do you do with your hands when not gesturing? You said no to behind the back, in the pockets, crossed arms. So just hands at sides in between gestures? Second, are you saying to keep hands inside the box all the time, or only during gestures. Thanks man. Great video.
My favourite hand gesture to use is the thumbs-up. It's useful when you want to tell someone they did well on a project or presentation. Although, you should be careful with this gesture since it means "Up yours" or "Screw off" in certain countries (Australia, Greece, the Middle East).
The NCO power pose, for confidence ["I am in charge"]- light grip over the belt, thumbs just outside of buckle, fingers curled to touch just around the bottom. This is great for those who have the hands in the pockets issue. Used it a lot when in the Army, where regulations dictate "no hands in the pockets" [which as a result called pockets "Air Force Mittens" since they seemed to be allowed to use them].
I should probably stop walking around fingers crossed behind my head hahaha I'm joking! Great video and useful information as always! I must say I started watching yours and Aaron's videos about 2 years ago and my style and health have improved a lot, just wanted to say keep up the great work!

Completely agree with you ! I am young but i used hand gestures when I'm speaking in front of listeners and it gives me confidence 👍
God vincero watches are ugly and cheap.
Need some information how to wear hats, excluding ball caps. But nice brims.
Watching Trump its obvious that open hands dont mean anything ... certainly not honesty.
70% of communication is nonverbal. Great video!
If you go outside the box, you’re Crazy Man, or you could just be Italian hahaha
I watched your other video' on etiquette and changed up how I moved or placed my hands. I didn't realize how much people perceived hand gestures or posture. This has heaped a lot. As always good videos Antonio!!!
LOL loved the tiny hands at the end.
This was made for me. I am a public speaker and often forget the hands. Thank you so much.
Fantastic, glad to hear it man! I hope my suggestions are helpful!
Interesting topic as always Antonio, love this one
Glad, you liked it! Thanks for watching, Jaguar!
I started using hand gestures in public speaking and although it was tough at the beginning and sort of awkward, I soon got the hang of it and it seems people started enjoying my speeches more. So thanks a bunch :)
Thanks Antonio, this one is great and most don't pay attention to the gestures they use. Thumbs up.

This is wonderful Eóin.
Every Italian in NYC all just shouted "I KNEW IT!"
1968: we will have flying cars.
2019:
Maybe tomorrrroww.
Mr HunterF λ 2020: We died.

As italian, i think i can add one or two more gesture in my repertory!
My content manager lives in Italy and he would definitely agree with you!

Can you do, or have you done, a video on the do's and don'ts concerning physical contact (grasping the arm, clapping the shoulder/s, etc.)
Loved this topic and it will help me more on presentations to tackle inside a classroom and sooner in the company/agency I worked with.
Thanks, Sir.
