Actually Probius wasn't played in competitive anymore since his bugged Shield battery talent was banned (without it most people didn't view him as viable anymore) - which was fixxed in the patch two days ago.
Nova changes are quite underwhelming. Like really that's the best you can do? Congrats she's now damage Ana if you talent into it. And the nerf on Probius trait seems just tone deaf. If they want him to be more aggressive just put 2 charges on his pylons and the ability to destroy his pylons manually. What Probius needs isn't more damage, but more survivability. Baseline shield, initial uninteruptable on his z, or just HP buff.
Probe is a failed hero. Only reason they reworked him was an attempt to get players to actually play him. They don’t, only things buffs did was make him toxic to play against because probe one tricks can abuse the lack of match up knowledge because nobody sees him.
Problem is Nova has her strengthes (that's why she is on near 50% or at least was long time). Overbuffing is a significant thread as she is a player killer. I think better Mana reg during roam is nice, buffing snipe on non heroes is good as well (siege, objective, mercs). Faster Decoy + One in the chamber + Deadly decoy will be a lot stronger now. I am happy they start to look at her and hopefully it already does some things and maybe if it's not enough (what I guess it is) we will get more.
But to add a bit: I think laser ult should be +50% damage to non heroic targets and lowering CD by 15 seconds if at least 5 non hero targets are hit. Then buff the other ult, too. And we start to get her back on track. Her ultimates are just to laughable (laser is ok-ish but just a bit to weak for CC).
I think the thing is the other assassin's are way too good for Nova to compete. Zeratul can blink 5 times to his target for ducks sake, while dealing a gazillion damage, and Genji can literally dive you (saying this a Nazeebo player) into your fort and kill you, while getting out with 50% health. Tracer has insane mobility, and if left unchecked will decimate your backline. Why pick nova when you have all these other overloaded heroes?
I think that lvl 4 talent might make greymane a ok/good solo laner especially in maps where you directly 1vs1 the other solo lane (Dragon Shire and Braxis Holdout) since you would be able to top yourself fairly reliably as long as you get some aa. What do you guys think?
Some of the changes are ridiculous. ETC got hp and hp regen increase by 1%. Malth lvl16 it with 1.75 from trait and 90% it did 3.325% now with 2 from trait and 60% it will do 3.2%. Blizz should dropped it to 70% so in the end it would be 3.4. A slight buff from 3.325%.
I think you kinda glossed over novas slow at level one as it makes her slow 60% and much easier to get off as you only need 2 seconds to have it ready.
A get Diablo is S tier for competitive/coordinated play but, for uncoordinated play, or even playing with others casual...you died once and lost your loses. Team mates dont wait for you when they clear a wave to get those 7 souls. People still expect you to be as tanky as with 100 souls and go ballz deep. These are not problems with coordinated play. This was a good was to make him more viable for casuals. Now the devs need a way to nerf him for coordinated play specifically. Which is, well...good luck with that :D
I found this patch a bit underwhelming, to be quite honest, aside from the nerfs to Rehgar (and he needed more nerfs). The Malthael changes were pretty nice, although the nerf to Memento Mori makes no sense to me. Malfurion could use more buffs to his other talents; honestly, Ysera's Gift should be baseline to his kit. I think the most significant change, in my humble opinion, was adding the cooldown reduction to Probius' Pylons through the minerals, which not only helps him but also adds another layer of character fantasy. HOWEVER, I think they should be magnet-type of resources, akin to experience globes; Probius is already one of the frailest Heroes in the game, so having him to move and pick up those minerals in lane is pretty dangerous for him.
Nova has to be the worst design in a moba ever. Yes lets make her only source of damage unreliable. I'm guessing hots team thinks Nova players are bots where they never miss their snipe. That quest has to be a permanent quest. Or if you die u lose the stacks but missing it is too punishing.

God, they didn't even touch Nova, those changes didn't do anything. Do they really think that the "you stealth quicker" talent at level 20 is good?

Yeah, same. Took a quick glance at the heroes being buffed and I knew the things weren't going to change much this patch.
I don't play Nova, I hate her. She is so annoýing and if she is in my team, she is always just bad with zero impact.
