I loved this song!! My dad used to play it for me on his massive hi-fi in our lounge. Thought this was the prettiest song as a 4-year old ❤️🤣 I’m really grateful that my parents taught me to appreciate proper music from that age

Some originals do not need remixing. This is one of them.

As a teenager I came across Yazoo. Im in my 50s now and it's even better.
Those strings tip the song from cute to cloying. Even though their addition is subtle, the song's beautiful but naive charm evaporates the instant they appear.
Surprised that this song never ended up in Stranger Things series. Like Kate Bush's song .. guaranteed to be a number 1or hit nowdays. I heard this song today driving home. A little gem from the 80's that sets you off on a moment of pondering of how life was so fun and care free back in a youth.
