One of the most underappreciated and underextimated songs of Depeche Mode in my opinion, but for me one of their very best songs ever. It is total hypnotic and touches me very much.

They kind of have a dychotomy with Pet Shop Boys here: both bands are synthpop, but where ones are optimistic others are sad and vice versa. Seeing both bands still going strong pleases me, anyhow.

This song has a night vibe to it. The video is perfectly suited to this night atmosphere. This is undoubtedly a great song and Dave is so charismatic as always in the video. Depeche Mode will always be my favourite band.
This song is magnetic,it has something powerful impossible to explain. Only to listen and live. I loved it from the first time I heard it. It takes me away,like only good music can do it. Andy ,you will be missed🖤
Depeche Mode is one of the few bands who were/are able to evolve and be just as good, if not better than, whoever was/is around at the same time, while also sounding entirely like just themselves and nobody else, AND being timeless with all their work. That's a very rare thing in music.

Songs of Faith and Devotion and Ultra have more of a rock edge while the early stuff is pure pop. And definitely make sure to check out the non-album singles like Shake the Disease and Get The Balance Right. This epic song still sounds in my mind like if was 1997, when I was 24 years old. Today, at my 49, "It´s no good" still sounds like that unforgettable years. Thanks a lot Depeche Mode, for the great memories.

This song gave me chills as I was listening to this for close to a year without any news of the band. At that time, I was unaware of Dave's health. I am glad things looked up for him and was fortunate to catch Depeche Mode on their Ultra Tour.

Went to my fIrst Depeche Mode Concert at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena in 1988. Went three more time after that ICONIC concert. My last one was in December 2023 at the Crypto Arena in Los Angeles,in December 2023. Iconic as well. Felt like the first time. Love this Band FOREVER .

Fletch said that we knew it was going to be a succes, just as Enjoy the silence, so it was perfect as the second single from Ultra.

They played this during their Vancouver, BC concert on Nov 24, 2023. They put on an amazing show. Roger's Arena was packed and the entire set list lasted 2 hours.
