i gotta truly respect Araki for taking the alternate timeline version of Dio, who was originally a vampire, and not just making him a werewolf. instead he decided "no let's make this funky little dude a dinosaur". game recognizes game
It makes sense theme wise too. Both Dio and Diego are characterized as being apex predators: Dio through vampirism, and Diego by literally becoming an apex predator from the past. Considering how he symbolizes the past 6 chapters of Joestar-Brando rivalry, very fitting.

I feel like I'm feeling to a particularly artistic-licensey take on "We Are Finally Cowboys" from No More Heroes when I listen to this, and that's not even a complaint.
Honestly, I think this music really fits Scary Monsters Diego. This music evokes the feeling of ruthless determination to persevere and thrive, which screams "Diego Brando". And it's a banger too! What more could I ask for?
The oddly encouraging melody fits Diego, he's ruthless and determined but he's far more human than Dio was. Love how subdued it is! Listened to it more. It really really fits Diego. It's a weirdly heroic melody, but it has stings of danger with the low guitar keys and the quiet yet unrelenting electronic beats. Diego in Part 7 isn't really that bad a guy; sure he's ruthless and has a lot of resentment, but he's not particularly evil or cruel and even seems to be a perfectly fine fellow when you're not competing with him, just like our boy Johnny. The worst we hear about him is an unsubstantiated rumor from Johnny who does not like Diego at all, and while he does kill several characters in the part, in all fairness everyone was trying to kill each other over the holy corpse. He even lets the corpse (and his shot at ultimate power) go so he can learn where his heartless bastard of a father which is a much more relatable goal than world domination, and after he teams up with Hot Pants for a moment he's genuinely heroic in trying to stop Valentine from fucking over the world. If anything Diego, with his backstory, deep ambition but fights fair, and ability to control a certain form of life, has more in common with Giorno than the original Dio,. If you listen really close to the main beat starting at 0:06, it even sounds like the climax to the Stardust Crusader's theme from the anime, and if that was an intentional homage then it was fuckin genius. 10/10 song would walk like a dinosaur again

The differences between the two are remarkably negligible considering it's the same model with some very minor alterations. You gotta be REALLY keen to notice the difference.
I like this more than the EoH track, but I'm kinda hoping they'll add an EoH music pack in the future, there's a few characters whose EoH themes were better I think, like Valentine and Gappy
Will you do the old ASB ones too? I wouldn't mind since they are still there, the extended ones with the most views are low quality, if you don't want to I can do that, or we can just use Jirechi's videos.
I hope we get Diego From Another World one day for this game. I don't know how many characters they're willing to add and adding another Dio, DIO or Diego kind of feels dumb when characters like Abacchio have been asked for so long, or more guys La Squadra or hell even Cioccolata and Secco. But I just love him and The World so much.
They are definitely gonna add Diego au soon, and i feel they should eventually add some more part 8 characters for the part 8 fans out there. I wouldve preferred abbachio, or cioccolata and secco, over prosciutto and pesci but hey, nothin we can doo now
