Johnny: oh boy, I can't wait to take the whole corpse!
AU Diego in the pit:
This man has by far one of the hardest songs in the whole DLC lineup...
And its called fucking "Me Time" lmao
The song: 💀🌍⏰🐴🎸🥁💥🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️🗡️
The song title: ✨ 🌸 🥰 🌸 ✨
He's just having a little me time.
That me time just so happens to include a hard ass theme
@@riversduvall1176 FR It's always Dio having to be extra one way or another lol
I know this is an oldish comment, but I gotta be that guy and point out that the title is poorly translated. It should be "Time is mine."
Me time is funnier tho.
I’m a whole year late lol, but the Japanese title, “Ore Dake no Jikan Daze!” Translates to “Time is mine, and mine alone!” Which is just infinitely better
This is Steel Ball Run anime worthy. Just imagine AU Diego’s reveal to this…
I want to hear more themes with such epicness, for whatever reason after part 2 they're not doing epic main antagonist music, instead it's calm and creepy
@@ricedolphin7348 i think the last truly epic final boss sounding villain themes before this were part 3 Dio's and final pucci but I really like kosaku kira's too. this one is definitely my new favorite theme in the game though

@@xspranp7649 maybe the EOH one, it was the same
@@doubleabattery8099 I think Diego will because he has way more of an active presence AND battles like shootouts and riding on horses in pursuit doesn’t scream “slow-heavy mysterious score.”
This theme is the perfect mix of fear and tragedy. Johnny’s Fear of this new foe having appeared with the face of a dead man, and the tragedy of seeing a Diego that didn’t grow the way ours did. One that is doomed to repeat what johnathan and dio went through

AU Diego's EOH theme is like a secret boss battle. But his ASBR theme is like a true final boss theme, which I guess both fit really.
EoH made Funny Valentine's theme the final boss
ASBR made Another World Diego the final boss
And now Toru/Wonder of U's theme feels like a Secret Boss theme it almost feels like it went full circle
easily the best theme out of all dlc characters, simply amazing
Maybe even the best in the game honestly
this is almost as good as risotto theme
It's better than Light Mode (Kars theme)

It's fitting that it sounds like a final boss. After all, this is the last time in the story that Dio's true evil manifests itself in some way. Even across universes, even in a universe where his counterpart did not go down such a destructive path (or got the chance to, anyway), Dio wielding the terrifying power of The World manages to manifest himself to stand against the Joestars. And if he does get the Corpse, the consequences will be disastrous. With Valentine, the world would suffer, but America would be safe. With this Diego, nowhere will be safe. If he succeeds, the world will finally belong to Dio.
This is easily the best character soundtrack from the DLC pass *PERIOD*
And it belongs to Diego Brando (THE WORLD)!
second place goes to stroheim imo
I like the original Diego Theme more
Strohiem’s goes harder imo
Bad Company 1st place

How I felt after listening on Diego AU's EOH and ASBR theme
EOH: oh hey i unlock a secret boss fight
ASBR: 𝙬𝙝𝙮 𝙙𝙤 𝙄 𝙨𝙪𝙙𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙖 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙗𝙤𝙨𝙨 𝙢𝙪𝙨𝙞𝙘 𝙣𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙗𝙮?
TIME IS MINE AND MINE ALONE!
This theme song made me want to cry out tears when I first heard it after getting a matchup between Diego and facing his parallel world counterpart. Everything about this song encapsulates the overarching emotional weight that was Steel Ball Run. Johnny's journey of maturity, Gyro's ambition to save a child from execution, Diego's determination to stand above those who inflicted misfortune on him, Hot Pants' desire for absolution. Not to mention the holy corpse itself and how it influenced many people into wanting to obtain all it's parts for their own motivations. And in the decisive battle against Funny Valentine, out of all the major characters, all but Johnny would perish in trying to take down Valentine, before Johnny himself defeats the president. But just when he thinks its finally over, one final trial stands in his way. President Valentine's final plan, should his dreams to rule with the holy corpse crumble. An alternate world Diego to wield the power of the corpse in his place. And so the final battle begins to determine the fate of the holy corpse and to test how far Johnny has come in his journey of growth.
I actually got done reading Steel Ball Run in the middle of this spring. The story itself was truly phenomenal to read and the characters being easy to grow attached to. I wanted to prepare myself for Alternate Diego when the datamines revealed he would be who everyone thought would be the final DLC character for the game before the reveal of the second season pass, but I couldn't have been prepared enough for the beautiful theme that was made to represent a battle against Steel Ball Run's final antagonist. They couldn't have made a more perfect theme to symbolize the end of part 7.
damn
Truly a long roundabout path
Well said, I agree whole hearty.
Yeah I totally agree. I keep seeing people that are saying that Stroheim's and Keicho's themes are better, but it's not even close to this.
Oh my god me to
This guy sandbagged Act 4 Johnny, could probably stand up to Valentine by himself (without Love Train) and easily beat anyone in the SBR verse that isn't Tooru or Love Train Valentine, no wonder his theme sounds like a final boss theme
The final boss vibes this one gives off is so immaculate oh my god
I hope they play this when he first appears in the SBR Anime. That'd be Amazing!
Also kinda spoilers if you never read SBR, this Diego actually managed to defeat Johnny in clean fashion. Even with ACT4, Johnny didn’t Stand much of a chance with this Diego.
@@jjwesker1061 Bruh, that's because Valentine already told Diego everything about Johnny's Stand Abilities beforehand and because of that, Diego had prepared accordingly. If both the characters didn't know anything regarding each other's abilities then this fight would've turned out like the Jotaro vs DIO fight in Part 3.
@@jjwesker1061I mean, Diego did get hit with Act 4 and had to chop his leg off to save himself. I'd say it was a pretty damn close fight.
@@krimson4626Nah, he almost won because THE WORLD is the ultimate stand
Holy shit this this theme goes so hard, I really love the clock ticking at the beginning a lot.
I can totally see this playing in the high voltage arc... Another banger by Chikayo Fukuda!
All-Star Battle R is actually composed by: Anny-K, Ryosuke Terao, Erica Kiyosaki, Masaki Kuniwake and Masaki Hara. However, Chikayo Fukuda's music can still be heard in the menus and themes of the characters from the original game.
Damn I was kinda hoping for some High Voltage reference within the song but I love how there’s some segments that gives off Street Fighter vs Tekken vibes
As flawed as that game was, it had the best intro in fighting game history.

This goes way harder than I expected compared to EoH. This might be the best Dio theme in general especially with the clock ticking in the background. Easily the best ASBR theme so far with Risotto following behind it.
Mmmm it's really good but personally I don't think it's better then the eyes of heaven one
Ngl kind of disappointed that this isn't just a SWEET RAVE PARTY remix of the theme of this game's Diego.
Wdym compared to EoH, that one was the best theme in the entire game
@@Gonnluv dont you mean this game's dio

Holy shit. I wasn’t expecting an absolutely majestic boss theme; this would be so incredible in a Steel Ball Run anime!
I don’t see people talking about how this is a grandiose and penultimate remix of “Hungry!” In the end, and I think that’s such a nice touch. Instead of remixing ORIGINAL Dio’s theme, they remixed the original Diego’s theme, which is a nice touch.
Fun fact: all the instruments used to make this song turned on fire mid production.

Love how there's a slight difference between him and OG Diego. Besides the different alternative colors, this one has the words Dio in silver, where's the OG has it in gold. Sure in the color manga both are the same color but this change helps reflect the difference better. Like this one won't ever get the gold, just the silver "trophy" where's the OG at least felt like he "won".
Where are you seeing silver? If yoj are talking about the big DIO on his hat then it's definitely the same thing as Scary Monsters Diego
The ticking clock gives me goosebumps 😰👏👏
This is a pretty banger theme for A.W. Diego! The clock ticking plus the small pieces to the Hungry! ASB theme at 1:07-1:28 are a really nice touch! I also see ASBR went with his iconic Chapter 94 pose for his portrait.
You know, when I first saw A.W. Diego in EoH I thought "Alternate World" was just the name of his version of The World. Then I actually read Part 7 years later and I realized they *literally* meant "Diego From Another World". I just always thought Diego got a new stand somehow at 1st.
id say the name is supposed to be a bit ironic considering he is a Diego from another world that has another “the world”
@@badtemtime999 Yeah, I can see that.
This radiates final boss energy... and it's called "Me Time"?! *Absurd.*
In original Japanese, it was named as "It's my time alone".
If you translate it directly from japanese you will get "time is mine and mine alone"
0:56からの基本世界ディエゴの曲のマッシュアップ好き
That's it. This just proves that Diego has the best themes in both games.
bummed that his theme wasn't remix of DIO's ASB theme but it still slaps. Its like a rule where every Diego theme is top tier ost
Parts of it have a remix of Scary monsters Diego’s theme
DIO's wouldn't fit for Diego. They're completely different themes, and an EDM remix wouldn't be good for capturing the actual feel of Parallel Diego
"THE WORLD!
...soyjak him!"
This theme is absolutely incredible and perfectly fits The World Diego as he really is the final boss of SBR. This might be my favorite theme from any of the new characters added to ASBR. Fantastic stuff!
When my brother read through part 7 just over a week ago, when he got to High Voltage, I put a pair of headphones on his head and told him to wait. THE SECOND that he got to the frame that featured THE WORLD, I started playing this, and the timing was absolutely perfect. I re-read part 7 just so I could do the same for myself, and I highly recommend anyone else do this as well. IT'S SUCH AN EXPERIENCE!

"THE WORLD! Time is mine and MINE ALONE!"
"There! This is where the fun begins. Time will now resume."
I like how eyes of heaven's alt Diego theme felt like a secret mini boss you'd find in mortal kombat and now his all star battle theme sounds like the most epic final boss.
I love it when themes include backround sfx that fit the character, the ticking clock in the backround makes theme go from good to incredible imo
In EOH, his theme is a remix of DIO's theme. In this game, its a remix of og Diego theme. We have come full circle
Not really, it's a remix of DIO's theme with the main part of Diego's theme being put in the middle
I feel like this samples the original Diego's theme. So cool!

10/10!
Sounds like a second major antagonist's boss theme in a jrpg. It's perfect
EoH: Funky alternate version of DIO’s theme
ASBR: Secret boss that’s harder than the final boss theme
I do wish that they named the theme High Voltage
Center of The World would go a bit harder imo
Uhh I think it would be way cooler if they kept the Japanese name of the song: "Time is mine and mine alone!"
I was reading part 1 when I discovered my own brother stealing from me. It grew me the courage to set boundaries for him and myself.
I found part 2 when my sister died. She was my rock and to this day I miss her dearly.
I finished part 3 while helping my brother (the same one) get clean off of drugs. This December he will earn his four year sobriety pin.
Part 4 found me when I moved to a different state for better business opportunities. I knew no one in that town but I managed to make friends that attended my wedding. My best man was actually from that town.
I actually finished Part 5 the night before my wedding. I will admit I was scared. Like Giorno, I was stepping into a life changing commitment. I have now been happily married for about 8 years.
Part 6 got me through the loss of my Dad. Part 6 holds a place in my heart for this reason. Given the context (and pain) Jolyne endures, Araki’s writing helped me rise above what could’ve been a dark chapter in my life.
I’m scared to read Part 7.
I’m very very
Have you red part 7 yet?
