Speechless, stunning, beautiful. Truly a class act. Thank you H.E.R. There are never and will be enough words to express, but you have done so with amazing grace. Thank you! #foreverfan

Too much improv. Lacks the emotion of someone singing for a 9/11 tribute. She was four when 9/11 happened. Not a very good rendition of this song. Hard to top Jeff Buckley but definitely not hard to replicate what he did and she completely missed the mark.
@@themanfromtoronto8403 I checked Alexandra performance yes she did an excellent job but you still can't take away from H.E.R.- they did good job too- people have different styles- you could have Marvin Gaye or Luther Vandross sing their way-- but if Beyonce or Pink sang it -- it would be different but I'm quite sure all would be beautiful.....
@@themanfromtoronto8403 love Alexandras version but the most emotional version is Chester Bennington at Chris Cornell funeral. The vocals aren't perfect but the first Hallelujah he sings just destroys me.
An exceptionally beautiful tribute to the victims of 911 by a talented artist. This is one of my favorite songs too.
An absolute star if there ever was one. Thank you, H.E.R., for the extraordinary gift that you are.
And that's how one changes the game. HER = ARTIST
Beautifully and perfectly done as usual!
22 years later and it still cuts like a knife. NEVER FORGET! 💔🇺🇸
This is absolutely beautiful ❤

I love this song regardless of who sings it but her version is transcendent! Geez she is a talent.

I think the hype about this performance is because young people never heard this beautiful song before. Jeff Buckley was the best IMHO.
Im sure Leonard Cohen was smiling when she sang it 😇😇
❤❤❤❤
Its said H.E.R. did the best version, she was on pitch..
Its a close race. I'm sure that was very important to her.....she was inspired....
Only 11,904 views? Hopefully that changes.
They was another one posted idk why they took it down...
Who is this song originally composed by?
Pentatonix
@@ashantibrown4365 No offense, but the way H.E.R. sung this song at the 9/11 was so much more beautiful and better than the original version.
Malcolm Mitchell it was originally composed and written by Leonard Cohen.
@@malcolmmitchell7207 it definitely was to me too & no need to say no offense, I agree
@@toshibawhetstone7878 lmaooo oops 😭
Beautifully sung. Is she wearing pajamas?
