The day I met GLEN HAW | KAP Sani2c Mountain Biking Race | Cataract Surgery | Vision For Life Clinic

Biking has been a part of my life since I was at varisty…it’s as intrinsic to me as breathing is to life..
Racing competitively has been in my blood for years..but it’s not just about the competition, it’s about the freedom, the joy, the natural kick you feel afterwards when sipping on that well deserved coffee..
Mountain biking has provided me with a different spin on the sport,and to me there is no more iconic MTB stage race in SA, no wait, the world, than the ‪@sani2c280‬ 3 day stage race.
I have ridden the event 5 times and every year am just as passionate about returning and experiencing the absolute beauty of #Natal, and the insanely manicured singletrack.
More than that, I have always wanted to meet the brains and the man behind the scenes, #FarmerGlen.
Little did I realize that Glen helped bring joy into my life through such an amazing event, but that I would be helping Glen own his vision, so he can better see those single tracks and read the power stats off his Garmin!
This week provided that joy when Glen underwent #cataractsurgery on both eyes with #stateoftheart trifocal lenses.
Day one post op Glen was up and running(sorry, riding) and reading again!
