The Dude abides, Thx for doing doing these vids Brother its been a big help
Ah, you got the movie reference. 😉 Thanks and have fun with the CRJ!
Excellent tutorials thankyou so much
Glad you like them!
Great video on EFB. I have never seen a detailed demo on the EFB like that before.
Thank you very much for this tutorial playlist. Very much enjoyed, and very well explained.
All the best
Chris.
Thank you, enjoy the CRJ!
Finally I found a video for the EFB. But the reason why I searched for it wasn't answered unfortunately:
"Coupled VNAV available" what exactly does it mean ?
can anyone explain this ? THANKS !!
otherwise, the rest of the video is very informative !!!
There are not many CRJs flying around IRL that have the coupled VNAV function. No idea why Collins/Bombardier/Mitsubishi call it "coupled" VNAV. It is defacto the same als the Boeing VNAV and Airbus CLB/DES modes. The autopilot will follow a vertical FMS path that is defined by "speed" and altitude constraints and adheres to these constraints. Ofcourse speed is a function of the thrustsetting and because there is no autothrottle you still have to manage this a bit yourself.
@@Flyer0245 Good news ! I enjoyed VNAV on the CJ4 mod and was a bit disppointed when I saw in a tutorial video that the VNAV path had to be follwed by using FLC or VS in the CRJ. Looks like my CRJ will be one of the not so many around..;-)
@@Flyer0245 Just tried it, when you set it to Coupled VNAV, a VNAV button appears under the VS button !
@@DistasterArea Yeah, coupled VNAV can be activated as an option but it is not implemented that well unfortunately. Maybe someday we will see some improvements.
It's good that Aerosoft is raising the bar on MSFS 2020
Is there an actual model for the ground power cart? I don’t believe I’ve ever seen it
No, there isn't.
Hello friend how to get taht bird, it looks very very nice friend !
Tomorrow the 16th on aerosoft.com
@@Flyer0245 thks thks thks friend !
Thank you very much for a very good and informative tutorial series! I seem to struggle with getting my Airbus throttle to match up with the CRJ throttle!
Thank you!. Make sure to deselect your virtual detents in the TM software, map throttle 1 and 2 in MSFS and calibrate them in the CRJ EFB.
Really impressed !!!
Thanks
Thanks Dude another awesome video
Packed full of detail! Looks great
@adi_boi 👋
My favorite plane...I'm glad its available in MSFS. :-)
Im not a crj fan but I'm sold
Save option button doent work... it is bug?
For support please go here: forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/forum/1025-aerosoft-crj/
Does the plane have a cabin? Or a window seat like the planes have in fs2020?
@Zyonix007 that sounds awesome
Can't wait for tomorrow March 16 to own this plane.
Is the Horizon Livery included? I do t see it on aerosofts CRJ product page.
It is yes.
@The Dude From an unbiased point of view, would you consider this CRJ as study level?
Study level is a very subjective thing. It is no PMDG or FSLabs. It does not model failures. Almost every switch and button has a function. System wise the page is modeled but not so much the "system" behind the "system". Do not expect an Ampere increase when the coffee maker in the galley is on.
If you want to fly this CRJ as real as it gets and within normal SOP it does require studying and experience with the aircraft. It is not a kick the tires light the fire aircraft.
@@Flyer0245 Thank you for the thorough response. Hopefully in the next one to two years we will all start to see a development of 'study level' aeroplanes. Nevertheless I'm excited for the release of the CRJ.
Keep up the outstanding work.
incredible job by the Aerosoft team, kudos!
Does anyone know if the EFB will eventually have provisions to display navigraph/charts?
Not at release but probably later on.
@@MARBLEHEAD07 thanks for the heads up
Aerosoft said it will in the future. Working title (cj4 mod) are actually testing builds with navigraph integration, although the SDK does not officially enable it. My understanding is the method is somewhat of a workaround, not preferred for payware products, from professional studios.
the level of detail is insane, having the tablet run on batteries when no power is available is nuts! can't wait for next week
How to get this ?
You can buy it in the MSFS store or at Aerosoft.com on the 16th
Have you tried this plane in VR yet? If so how did it run compared to say the CJ4 (Working Title)
I have flown it with an G2 but did not compare it to anything else except the Spitfire and the cub.
cant wait for this! is there an cabin interior modelled? or atleast window views on par with the standard asobo window views?
The cabin interior is modeled but there are no detailed window views (yet).
How is the FPS compared to A32nx with this?
Love your youtube name! No idea actually, I have not flown the A320nx since the MSFS beta. The CRJ is not heavy on the frames as you might expect with other simulators like P3D and Xplane.
could you plz do a walkaround inside the passenger cabin if possible, thanks
What is the release date? Sorry
March 16th

Thanks for the EFB video!!! 👏🏻👏🏻🤩
Such great videos... thank you so much!!
Can’t wait to get my hands on this thing
Thanks a lot
Will there also be an EFB on the FO side and will you be able to individually hide/remove them like in most other addons?
No, not possible. The EFB is only on the Capt side and is fix in position all the time.
@@Flyer0245 Too bad.
@@Flyer0245 is that because of the SDK or just not possible at all?
@@ilias0171 It is possible but it was decided to not do this for reasons I do not know.
Thanks, Dude. The amount of polish they've applied is impressive.
out of curiosity, do crj's use dual cue or single cue irl?
I have seen both options being used but you have no control over it as a pilot. It is a company option that can only be changed by maintance IRL.
@@Flyer0245 figured it was something like that, thanks
Does the HGS and HCP work on the crj? Thanks
Yes, they do.
TOD calculate on display?
Yes!
Zero Dislikes...! KING 💪😋
Is there no way to get Charts on the EFB?
not yet
What about simbrief integration?
This will happen as soon as Asobo makes this function available for WASM aircraft.
What airport is that?
Aspen.
@@Flyer0245 Oh sick! That was one of the airports I was most excited to fly out of with this plane
Who remembers dave from the FSX CRJ haha.
Can we remove the EFB?
No.
We'll done!!!
Please enable the Closed Captions/Subtitles, Thanks.
I never know that I could autotranslate the default language. Neat feature YT.
I have english as standard with all my videos. Are you the only one that can not use it?
@@Flyer0245 i have English as your spoken language, but, prefer having subtitles rather than wearing my hearing aids.
@@raymar2010 So all is good now?
@@Flyer0245 Yes, all is good and thanks again for making these great videos.
2 more weeks folks oh never mind nearly one more week away
I feel the price going up as he speaks.
Price is already set. 42 euros plus applicable taxes, so roughly the same as their other equivalent products.
Cool to see what they have been able to do considering how limited the SDK still is (for developers coming from FSX/P3D). SDK is coming along gradually though.
well the SDK in planes system is almost complete but msfs is using a different language than the one was using in p3d so takes time to move staff, especially for companies like pmdg where only are few employees and they are not full time, aerosoft start this plane from cero with big invest in the platform lets see if was worth, also quality wings 787 should be soon released because they announce for Q2 this year
@@Mich8DB I partially disagree. The SDK is progressing nicely but is still not ready to make addons as complex as in P3D (YET).
For example, PMDG has stated that their 737 is still a long way off and other devs such as LatinVFR have said that there is still a lot missing. FSDT GSX has only managed to produce custom animations in MSFS.
Remember, there is a difference between the general MSFS SDK that is already done and continues to be upgraded and the SDK for P3D devs that allows them to carry their existing codebase over.
The A320 mod developers use the first type and the P3D devs rely more on the second type.
The second SDK is what is taking the most time but it is coming along nicely.

@@hansgrietjes7310 lol
I hope the plane runs well on my setup i mean your setup is a fucking nasa pc
lol, it is not that heavy on the frames. Just do not expect 60FPS with everything in ultra and 4K.
@@Flyer0245 Yeah i know this i hope 40 fps on high-ultra settings 1080p
