- Wondering if it is possible to get pregnant at age 50 or older? 𝐘𝐞𝐬!
While most people are done with childbearing by age 50, some others are only just getting started or seeking to expand their families!
The key to pregnancy at 50 or older is ensuring that your body is in its best health! As for eggs or embryos with which to get you pregnant, we can either use eggs from someone younger (an egg donor or if you have a younger partner) or your own eggs/embryos, if you had previously frozen them when you were younger.

My paternal grandmother gave birth to her First and only child at 45. She lived to 100yrs and 6 mths old. Enough to see me, her GRANDDAUGHTER, have children of her own. My maternal grandmother started having children at 15.....And passed away at 56. Leaving her 22 yr old youngest. Anything can happen. Judge not lest you yourself be judge. Take your own life into account... make the best judgement for your own lives and leave people alone who want to make other decisions for their own. ❤ You never know what life has in store for you! Be hopeful!

Eggs, no, thank you. I prefer my own. I am fifty if i can't get pregnant anymore after one child, so be it. I will live my life just the way it is with one child only, but if i do get pregnant by gods will with one last baby, then that's also fine with me to.

I’m 55 and if I were to get married, he better double up on those rubbers or get sterilized, because there is NO way I want to carry & pop out a human at my age! I’m in grandma, great aunt mode now. 🙌🏻 I’ll leave that to the younger folk. I’ll even baby sit for free.

I know a lot of women in their 50s who are still having regular periods every 28 days. Seems like menopause is not hitting early for many women? Seems strange.
I'm 54 right now and 55 in November. I would like to have a baby with first husband. Been to fertility show here in London England and I find one particular clinic based in Cyrus that will help up to 55 years old. I think this process might take longer because of other factors. One is I have mental health, diabetes and high blood pressure all maintained perfectly. I go to gym regularly I'm a photographer who is looking for clients to fund my skills. It's expensive and I'm living on hope that some thing will pay for it etc any advice or help

Yes you’re more mature and financially stable.
Is it biologically optimal timing?
Well there is a reason for menopause.
With that said. It’s still possible to bring a healthy baby into the world.
If it wasn’t optimal timing for THEM, the universe/collective consciousness wouldn’t have allowed it to happen.

A grumpy menopausal woman may be able to take care of a child but y’all will be tired, irritable, and just damn right bordering to a child. We will grow up and become teenagers who wanna spend time with mom but mom doesn’t have the energy she could have had if she had us younger. The body itself tells you the prime baby time. With the Average young woman holding onto what I like to call “potential motherly weight” around her 20-30s and sometimes 40s. I didn’t make the human body science did and science made the damn facts. With that said. Have a baby if you want. I’m just saying. When those kids get older we won’t appreciate grumpy hormonal mothers who snap like damn twigs and gossip on Facebook and never spend time with us because you “tired”.😂
PLUS! the older you get the MORE LIKELY your baby is gonna suffer some damn deformity or genetical disorder.
Maturity and financial stability won't spare the kids from getting hit with early caregiving and won't prevent them from losing at least one of them sooner than expected. Mine were over 40 when I was born and they were guilty of dysfunction.

It’s not optimal timing because a child need parents who can engage with them more. Older parents are grumpy and sit on their ass all the time. Kids live fun older people can’t provide the same quality young parents can. That and the fact that parents who are older can make a disabled child means having a child in an older age is just selfish.

sure they push the donor eggs starting to women even who is regularly mensturating and ovulating after 40 which is stupid since my grandma gave birth when I was 5 years old and my grandma was 51... this was back in 80s

@@dion5804 yes almost everyone has some similar experience from their families or freinds past to tell... but the DOCTORS agressively push the donor eggs. I also strongly belive that the IVF medication and all the tampering they do in the lab to the eggs and embryo destroy the quality of the eggs however noone talks about this...

It's possible, but couples over 40 should be barred from having kids that late in life.
Early caregiving and losing them earlier than expected are things people shouldn't face early in adulthood.

@@weltmeisterbayernmunchen6308 I'm someone who was a victim of older parents. Early caregiving has been a nightmare and losing a parent before hitting 30 isn't great at all.
I do get to decide. My experiences are a warning.
