Yep...they like open fields and rain. A short cut field>longer grass field. This is true in the ams with the dew on the ground. I have especially had em start cranking up after a hard rain and the sun comes out.
Rain and a green field is always my goto or any open field if you don't have a green field. They usually go out there to try to dry off in the wind and they can use their sight since they can't hear in the woods. Also the bugs come out in fields after a rain shower
Any advice gentlemen, for a handicapped 100% blind in left eye new turkey hunter? On public land I think I'd be safer in less populated handicapped areas, would appreciate all advice. I'm in Mississippi, would primarily visit Yockanockny and Pearl River wmas. Thank yall so much
