Looks like a great spot to climb.

It's a great area with, quite literally, hundreds of routes. It's also a really nice place just to spend the day at, too.

It's fantastic. Millstone grit balancing rocks formed by years of glacial action and various weathering. First time for me there actually. Felt a like being in a Jurassic Park movie 😂

I always take my hammock to places like this but it seems to always stay in the pack because I’m too busy climbing!

Late reply! Good old RUclips not flagging new comments.
I've been following their sporadic Instagram updates with baited breath. I dropped my car off for the MOT at the garage next door a few weeks ago and I had a hard time not scaling the fence to have a look in :D
I've been going since before the first expansion, too, it's bizarre to me how long ago that was now. Rob has only ever known the Goat as it has been for the last few years.

Nice video! Looking at going there in the new year when the weather picks up. Need to get myself a mat too, any recommendations? Thanks

Thanks, man. I don't think you can go wrong with snap pads, they seem to review really well but they tend to be on the very expensive side of things.
I only own a cheap, small pad that can fit in the boot of my car that only really gets much use filling gaps between bigger pads. To be fair, because we only climb out infrequently, we just rent pads from our local bouldering gym. I would imagine most gyms offer something similar.

Jorvik Grit oh nice. I wasn’t aware local gyms rented pads out. I’ll look into that around Leeds then 👍🏻 thanks
