I love my Magnesium TE37's!!
I have a set of Rays 19" forged aluminum wheels on my Nissan 370Z sport coupe that are really nice and only weigh about 23 lbs. In about two months I'm going to get a set of forged magnesium wheels for the car from Litespeed Racing in LA. They should weigh about 14 lbs to 15 lbs for the 19 x 9 & 19 x 10 wheels.

I know this video was posted a long time ago but Rays Engineering is not a subsidiary of Mackin. Mackin is just the company that imports them into North America (along with other brands and other types of products).

How much would they run around for?
This is all new to me. Basically, there is cast flow formed and forged flow form? Rays uses a cold flow forming? Whereas some others use heat in the process, ? So, what's actually stronger: BBS forged that is then machined out or Rays kind of ... like a hybride forged then flow formed? Like what brand typically has a higher load rating?
@Gcoups: That's a very general question you're asking. The prices vary between size, manufacturer, and weight. What are you looking to get? Size?

Depends about size, but i have 19'' on car and one Rays coast between 1500$-2200$ for 20'' or greater, of corse forged aluminum-magnesium, and coated with special material to protect the rim. usually 16'' about 700$, and 19'' to 1200$-1300$.
I got a used set of LMGT4 wheels in my Maxima and even when they have been used and got a few scratches from the former owner, they still look almost like new and weight nothing compared with the OEM wheels of my car.
Worth the money

yeah except rota makes OEM wheels for mitsubishi and toyota.
even makes some wheels for enkei
i thought ROTAs being crap was all hot air, as people told me race cars use em.. so I got a set on my evo, had big cracks in all 4 in 12 months.

I accidentally use the TE37 couple of years back, that's when my mate wanna sell his toyota. so he asked me to use his, and mine swapped to his car. And also I sort of condemn him a little, cause i have to pay for his new tyre. Later, then i realized how bloody good the quality is this Rays wheel. really use the rays to the fullest. scratches, dents, are normal, but this rim is basically indestructible to me. friends borrow it for endurance race, took it for sunday track day,...... till now.

Materials, Production Process, and to produce a product in japan on this scale (Large Facility) makes it so costly. But still Volk racing is no more costly than German Made BBS wheels.

Gcoups: middleman makes it ways more expensive but if you buy directly in 🇯🇵, it is quite reasonable! Best bang for the buck 👍🏼
